Curious but cautious. She is interested in new things, but does not let the curiosity take over all the time and proceeds with care if she is unsure of her safety.
She is a respecting creature. Even towards her enemies, she can show politeness in one way or the other, because to sink lower than your enemy would ruin you. With any animal, she does not make too big difference between male or female. She has met all kind of versions from both sides. When it comes to young, she has a soft spot for them (granted they are not rude little brats, because then they might get a smack over the nose.) She does not mind being the one playing with the kids, look over them and run on adventures. Being a pack animal at heart, she prefers being in a group, even though she sometimes likes some time for herself.
When it comes to kids, she can also be very protective and should she sense danger, she is prepared to defend them with teeth and claw, and all that is necessary.
Aside from the playful, protective part of her, she can be more of the lurking sort. The kind that sneaks around, listens to others, keep watch and then whispers the secrets to someone. Someone close and trustworthy. She has no problem taking sides if she sees the cause to her liking. And what cause would be to her liking? That is left to see...

The land she comes from is a warm one. Stony deserts with shrubs and small streams rolls over into seas of sand where only a scattered oasis may give shade and water. In the other way, there are weird forests. The trees to do not grow very tall. There trunks are gnarled and branches short with thick, waxed leaves. The ground is covered by mostly dirt and shrubbery, but further away from the prairies and deserts, yellow grass sprouts up and along the streams it becomes green.

Her pack lived on the stone prairie close to such a forest. They were not a large pack, but enough to hold off smaller predators and help each other survive the dry summers and enjoy the mild winters with its rain.
She did not have a rather special life. She slept, played, hunted and explored. No big tragedies. Though as she grew older, her curiosity grew larger and soon the packs territory could not hold her interest anymore. The pack did not want to move away from the land, so she decided to move on her own. They left on friendly terms. This could be a calling for their pack mate and maybe she would be able to return home one day with stories of another land.

H E L O V I A
~Tallsun - Year 1~
•I don't believe we've met• Entered Helovia during a nightly thunderstorm. Was met by Cassiopeia who welcomed her and offered a small tour of the land. Accepted and followed the mare to the Thistle Meadow.
•Is there something I should know?• Arrives at the meadow, which is hot and dried out. A strange creature makes a poke-and-run against Arathea and after a short confusion, the wolf listens to Cassiopeia who explains the situation with the angered Sun God. Thea feels as if she should help out in one way or the other.
•Damned if I do• Escaped the wrath of heat by going up north to Frostbreath Steppes and stumbled upon a unhappy mare. Said mare was later joined by another mare and a stallion and the second mare seemed to be the only one thinking that Arathea was no threat. Overwhelmed by the large animals, Thea retreats a bit to a safer distance.
•Heritache• Meets Mauja one night and seems to be accepted to be around by the Unicorn King. She becomes Warden of the Edge later on after a herd meeting.
•child of a different kind• Was called upon by Mauja and he had an interesting little egg with him. It would become a bird and Arathea was tasked to hunt food for it to eat once it was hatched, and she was also to guard the egg should Mauja need to go to war.

When the area is taken over by a stranger herd, Arathea leaves the land completely to not risk being attacked by the new owners. She travels far away to ponder more over Helovia and the strange horses within.

~Tallsun - Year 2~
•Sneaks back into Helovia.
•Look What The Waves Dragged In•Was taken by surprise by a storm on the beach and took shelter through the night. Found the area littered in driftwood by the morning, and a strange sea-living creature. She was called Kiiuna and had been washed ashore by the storm and could not make it back to the sea. Arathea felt kind that day and searched for a piece of driftwood to act as a raft, onto which Kiiuna climbed and the wolf pushed her back to the waves. Kiiuna was very grateful and offered Arathea her help should she need it.

~Orangemoon - Year 2~
•Starfish and Seashells•Meets the filly Catalina and her mother Kanti on the beach. [unfinished]

~Frostfall - Year 3~
•Dead MemoriesExplores the Secret Grove and meets a young stallion named Voodoo. As many others, he was wary and not comfortable in the wolf's company and she respectfully kept her distance in a try to show she was not about to eat him. She told where she had been from in Helovia and Voodoo informed her that the herd had moved to a place called Aurora Basin and that Mauja might be there. He agreed to take her to Basin and she was hoping to finally find Mauja again.
•When The Sun Comes UpFollows Voodoo to the Heavenly Fields where they meet Mauja. Her happiness and excitement over seeing him had to be held back for her to ask forgiveness for disappearing. Mauja was fortunately not angry with her and even offered her to become Warden of the Aurora Basin. Arathea accepted, but would stay in the south until the winter was over.
