A dappled blue roan mare with primitive leg markings and splashes of gold. Her build is compact, square and muscular, with a small head, showing her heritage from both sides of her breeding. Daci's horns curve up from her head, back towards her ears and then up in a flick to finish. Her neck is adorned in monochrome stripes that continue even under her red sash, a sole gold stripe can be found at the top of her head, near her ears.

*Her mane follows the colour of her neck and her tail is black except from a few gold strands that run through it. Finally, the hooves of this unicorn are whole and uncloven, coloured golden apart from the right back hoof.

** Dacianna's passive magic means that when in cold weather her hair turns completely white, save for a few gold strands.

"Hey, you okay?"
Dacianna is not unafraid to voice her own feelings and does so with great fervour, often in the past causing strong reactions in others meaning she had some close friends and a few bitter enemies. However, Daci is also kind and sensitive which repeatedly puts her at odds with herself; whether to speak her mind or to say nothing at all. She is also drawn by the need to aid those who appear to be pained and gets frustrated with herself if she can't help them. Stubbornness is also a double edged trait she has grown along with her courage that sees her throw herself into unpredictable situations without really thinking the consequences through.

Dacianna is neither good nor evil and stands completely on chaotic ground. She can be both endearing and harsh with impulsive tendencies.

Borghul & The Rift

There was something about Borghul that was quite unusual, but on the outside it looked like any other normal herd; at least, normal for the area … or era. However, there was something not right about the residents of Borghul, their faces a touch too glum and their feet dragged through the muddy terrain of a generally rainy and irritable place. The land rolled out like a lumpy carpet of green and brown as the land was surrounded by mountains and, atop of everything was a castle; not just any castle that is. It was said to be the home to ghosts, to flesh eating monsters, to angered faeries and the like… whatever the imagination could conjure, lived there. At least, that’s what the story fiddling folk said. The castle on the mount ruled all below it, forcing them to mine the mountains for its wealth in gold and all the while not one soul had ever seen anyone come out of those castle gates.

Aye, plenty went in, but not one poor bastard came out.

If rules were broken the offender would mysteriously go missing, should you steal more gold than you were entitled to then one day you might be summoned to the castle. With a creek, the heavy black gates would fall shut, rattling ominously as the next poor soul disappeared into its walls. Borghul was a place prone to thick fog too and, quite often, when it rolled in many would go about saying it was the spirits from the castle drifting down the mountain to greet them.

Among these residents was an averaged sized, sturdy mare named Dacianna; she was a dappled blue roan, with eyes the same colour as the gold her father had mined. One day she got fed up of the digging and the damp darkness, the jibes from her male counterparts who liked to poke fun at their female workers and, most importantly, the absence of freewill. So, she rebelled against the chains of her dreary life and, together with some friends, they made a plan that involved diversions, favours, risks and the chance to be saved.

One cold, wet night the band of rebels set their plan into motion, slipping out into the forests after a few well timed favours and they ran. They ran for their lives until they thought freedom was within their grasp and then…

Everything went dark.

The world changed, it morphed into something vile and disgusting, Dacianna lost her friends and for a long time she thought she had been captured by the castle on the mount; except those she did find here called this place the Rift…

The Rift was an ever changing place, but it was always dark and mouldy, like a realm left to rot. A tiger God ruled and beneath him were more vile creatures, Dacianna met one with fellow lost souls Aquila and Mbizi, in the form of a shark mutant. She barely escaped, but life was only going to get weirder from there as she was plucked from the Rift by an elderly God she had never seen before and guided into a land called Helovia.

A new chapter had begun.
