As a colt, Tristan is well-mannered and polite, his friendliness marred only by his shy, timid nature. He received his mother's adventurous spirit and his father's honor and loyalty, and one day he strives to visit all of Helovia, but such notions are quick to be forgotten with his mind of child-like wonder and common distractions.

Due to the condition of his left eye, Tristan is skittish of strangers and odd sounds, and will quest to fix his eye before permanent blindness sets in.
