Romina is a chestnut sabino roan, and even in her adulthood the few fawn markings of her youth still cling stubbornly to the curve of her neck and shoulders. Her ankles are a faded mulberry grey, and she has a short tuft of hair instead of a mane, fading from brown to pinkish white at the nape of her neck. Her colors fade out into white in indistinct patterns, a sabino throwback to her maternal grandfather. She is plainly pretty, a small and alluring thing that oozes fragility and innocence.

Romina's core value is family. She has very strong ideals concerning both literal and metaphorical relationships, and blood is incredibly important to her. Growing up with such a different appearance, Romina came to understand that family was the only constant source of love and freedom. She is very possessive of her family, and will not stand ill will or insults directed at them in her presence. Family drives most of her decisions, and she is almost obsessively loyal. However because of her intense dislike for the Basin climate she was born in, and the fact that her mother is busy as a leader, she retreats to the wilds almost entirely which has a lasting effect on her development.

Romina is a very scientific child. She is curious, but very morally distant, and is almost a sociopath with how she'll do anything to find the answer to the question in her head. She doesn't like this, and strives to mimic others because she feels like she's somehow broken and messed up. As a child, until she grows to understand her mental differences, Romina is a little "off" - she is not inherently evil, but she's driven by her need for knowledge which can lead her down the path of manipulation. Though undeniably and sincerely friendly, she is not one to form real attachments easily because of how little association she has with others as a foal. But those she does find in the world she clings to, which can at times destroy that relationship with her needs.

= She is nomadic in nature, encouraged by her distaste for the natural environment of her homeland, and is prone to wandering

= She often trails around deer in the wilds, trying to find a sense of belonging even if she cannot talk to them
