you ask: "what is black?" perhaps black is the color of the apocalyptic tempest: a calamity lying dormant within her cradle; she is the silence that transcends every organic fiber; a creature with a beautiful yet terrifying presence. nagini exhibits the coldness&cruelty of the night; her face is hardened, with angular&chiseled features-she is an image of glossy diorite. she displays the mark of a shapeless ink form, most visible because of the color that represents l i f e. &like blood from a fresh kill, it drenches itself upon her back as an eerie warning to all. her poise, though odd to the able-bodied, speaks of a wall between her&everyone else. protective she is of being ambushed, that she will c r e e p through the darkness, heartbeat fast&ears on alert. demonic black pools stare out into the dark abyss. no light. no emotions. no life. two long curved spiral horns rests behind her ears. the gods must have made a terrible mistake when she was born, for nagini had no whatsoever blood in her that attested to such a genetic anomaly. these horns are transparent in design, with a red liquid like substance entrapped within the horns. as if the gods suddenly realized what a mistake they had made, they took away the mane, which makes her bare but all the more striking. she is more on the tall side than the physically big side, and it seems to further accentuate her snake-like manner. she is a basilisk in the body of a unicorn, a snake woman, a black widow. maybe black is dangerous, she consumes and then takes, and takes, and takes. you wonder if she is also a selfish creature: she seems to ensnare all in her web of darkness.

o' black poison delilah, with lips of poison, you are a seductress; you, the courtesan to death. she was born on an execution stand, the guillotine up above hanging by just a thread. except, she cannot see the guillotine, but she knows it will always be there. ever since her youth, she always feared that one quick flash of death, made so much more inevitable because she is a blind unicorn. her freedom is like being thrown into a pit of hungry hyenas, with a thin wall between them and her. nagini thinks it's because the world is not a wonderful place, that the world is her enemy, and she's the only one on her side. so she guards herself, and only herself; she steels her mind and toughens her hooves for the eventuality of being attacked ("it will happen," she tells herself; it will happen). everyday is living life on a teetering edge, with a hand poised behind to push her blind self into a gaping mouth should she make the wrong move. she fears, and distrusts, everything, everyone, but the former is shrouded under a veil of barbarian-like tendencies-it's kind of suicidal. she is an oxymoron, almost. she's been on the defensive end all her life, and then she sometimes throws herself into death's grip willingly. it's almost a cruel joke she is playing on herself. yet she thinks that maybe, just maybe, if they see her as a hell-scorned woman, they will never notice the meager girl beneath. despite the insecurities, and the vicious trauma of being born blind, the girl is still a hurricane born into the body of a basilisk. nagini iscariot is as vengeful and venomous as she is beautiful. she can just as easily plot the death of another as she does for herself. sometimes, she wonders if it's possible to feel soft, and warm inside. maybe it is her fate to be a crude carve-out of a stone, with a heartless body and shielded mind. maybe she does not want these things; maybe she wants a gentle life.
