An ambitious and painstakingly single minded child, Manon cares little for social etiquette and even less so for rules and bloodlines. In some respects she is a figurehead for the movement of common children - she has no strong blood in her veins, only a vague and broken family name and her own fierce belief. She is as common as she is ferocious, with a fierce belief that royalty comes from strength and cunning, not blood. Her intelligence is undeniable, her tongue as quick and savage as she likes - and as such, her humour is dry, satirical and often accompanied by an unreadable smile. Manon has little time for manners, and even less for dancing around what she really wants to know: she is a straightforward woman, and plays no games in romance or in war. Cruelty does sometimes show her hand - but this is for times when Manon cannot control her feelings, when usually they are under a tight and secure grip. She does not like men. She is bitter about a great many things, but the power that men grasp and the ignorance in which many of them live their lives has made her overly wary and sometimes hostile toward the male gender. Girls, on the other hand... She adores. Manon would much rather have a court of women, than an army of men. That is not to say she hates them, but she is certainly more inclined to share her bed with a woman - and more willing to trust a woman than a man.

Manon was born to a regular family, of regular blood and little power but the power of peace. Her mother was one of few that birthed children, giving Manon only one full sister and one half brother, Swallow and Saker. The other children were gentle, kind souls and Manon raged against them - a bully in all sense of the word. Saker, especially, received more than one nasty bite simply because Manon did not like him being around her. Swallow held a dear spot in her small heart, though, and survived scar-free when Manon left to find more excitement than her small family could provide for her. She found the road long and hard, but worthwhile as it strengthened her bones, her mind and her heart. Many times she had to escape the dismaying troubles of a woman travelling alone, and every time she grew colder and more determined. After arriving in Tathra, a large and developed community, she set to accomplishing her goals - but not before becoming the figurehead for strong women in the surrounding areas. She developed a "girl gang" of sorts, whom remain close allies and friends. It began with Dracken - the cold and distant son of an old royal line. They shared their beds - purely for physicality, and Manon found her resolve slipping. Not for the Prince - she still held the same regard for his gender, but for her queendom. She had too many friends, too many allies, too many that knew her name and her plans. She packed her bags at midnight and left without a word, setting her eyes further ahead: to Helovia.
