Perhaps he once had a horn. After all, his leonine tail reveals him to be a unicorn, so where has the telltale appendage gone? He was born without, the first defect that should have warned everyone around him who he truly was. A mane beautiful and silky, perfectly groomed at all times as a hint of long-gone status.

He is of imposing size, built like a warhorse but with more grace, something between a dancer and a warrior. A coat that glistens like freshly-forged steel, laden with tiger-esque stripes to add to his feline appearance. The silver-coat. The steel-hearted. An appearance that all could love but only briefly, 'ere they glimpse what lies within.

And what lies within? Something broken and misudnerstood. Something of a lie that he has conjured, to himself and to others. His own inner hate has begun to seep through his thick skin and crawl outside, turning a once confident and hopeful knight into something of a twisted creature.

It is a gradual change that comes with an evil act. At first comes only the conviction that you were just, and the act that has not been rewarded on earth will be acknowledged by some vague deity. Then, slowly, this callous facade breaks and realization settles in. Suddenly, you are no longer the hero of titles and tales. Suddenly, you are nothing but a traitor.

It is should come as no surprise, then, that Tommen seems to have embraced that title. Gone are the days where a smile graced his face; it has been replaced with self-loathing and a critical hatred that takes the opinions of those around him to heart. If he is to be a villain, he thinks, then a villain he will be. That is why you see that confidence and pretentiousness cockiness in his stance and grin; the sarcastic dismissal that is so clear to read.

And yet, a knight can never truly leave his post. Principles embedded into his mind by his once-honorable lifestyle has left him in a tangle between the role he feels he needs to play into and the honor that he used to wear as a banner. Still, slivers of this remain; he is an honest man, true to his word. Though his oaths are no longer sacred, his promises are still kept, and his debts are always paid.
Few would ever trust him, but this is to their loss; Tommen is a man loyal not only to his word but to his friends. This loyalty, however, is sure to lead to his untimely fall, for it acts as a blindfold; it stops him from seeing faults in those he loves.

From his birth, Tommen's defining trait had always been his skills in a fight. Swift and sure-footed from his early days, his youthful daydreams led to his becoming a knight. A brawler, he adores any chance for a battle of swords, though strays from battles of wit unless they are without consequence to him. Indeed, he is no scholar, but his abilities with upon the battlefield translate into a battle-oriented tactician's mind.

He is also, however, defined by the cynical nature of someone who has seen too much and believes in nothing. He is of little faith; and throughout his lifetime has acquired the belief that people are motivated by self-interest, turning him distrustful of towards the sincerity of others. Because of this realization, he has lost faith in the world just as much as in religion, turning him bitter and hopeless.

In truth, he is a man who lives off the joys of others. And when he no longer makes people smile, no longer has anything to protect, then he himself becomes nothing. He is like a sponge; what goes on around him is bound to affect him deeply and personally, though he will do his best to suppress it and keep an indifferent exterior.

Then, what lies within? A man that hopes that one day, a savior will come; someone who will push past the exterior barriers and finally unlock what he keeps inside; someone who can prove to him that titles cannot define.
If this savior comes, then perhaps we will be able to see the knight once more.

'I am no longer who I was, and I cannot escape what I've become. This hatred, it grows inside me with every day, and I fear it may kill me. I have gone to find myself again. Farewell, for I will not return.'
