RE: Needlepoint Guide Thing - Demetrie - 05-28-2013

-Demetrie isn't as stupid as to go for a general. Midas is safe.
-Demetrie cares for her father though she cares not where his freedom is.

RE: Needlepoint Guide Thing - Mirage - 05-29-2013

Amaris is safe.

1- Show the needle your the boss. -> Mother is leader of World's Edge.
2- We can mix two different threads. -> She is a hybrid.
3- The thread your using is a combo of two. -> She has a twin.
Isn't it pretty?

RE: Needlepoint Guide Thing - Angora - 05-29-2013

Safe

RE: Needlepoint Guide Thing - Takara - 05-30-2013

Aaron says again

Semira is Safe

1- Show the needle your the boss. - Mother is leader of World's Edge.
2- We can mix two different threads. - She is a hybrid.
3- The thread your using is a combo of two. - Colors are Silver scales and amber champagne coat
Isn't it pretty?

RE: Needlepoint Guide Thing - Demetrie - 05-30-2013

Unwanted.

RE: Needlepoint Guide Thing - Sulwyn - 05-30-2013

Madyrn and Maskan are safe.

1- Show the needle your the boss. -> Sister is leader of World's Edge.
2- We can mix two different threads. -> They are a mix of two breeds.
3- The thread your using is a combo of two. -> They are twins.
Isn't it pretty?

There could also be a sibling reference in the numbering of the lines. 1.2.3. for Madyrn, Maskan and Mirage, and the final for Rishima who is an adopted sibling.

RE: Needlepoint Guide Thing - Angora - 05-30-2013

Safe.

RE: Needlepoint Guide Thing - Demetrie - 05-30-2013

Looking back at this, I hated it.

Psyche was sought.

1- Show the needle your the boss. -> One of the leaders in the Plague/Basin
2- We can mix two different threads. -> Threads as in fur/hair. Psyche's body consists of two opposite colors, black and white.
3- The thread your using is a combo of two. -> The basin is made of the plague and the regular herd.
Isn't it pretty? -> The red rune at the base of her horn is pretty. I consider psyche as a pretty mare.

Title references to her as a unicorn.

RE: Needlepoint Guide Thing - Mirage - 05-30-2013

I would fail this.

1- Show the needle your the boss. -> One of the leaders in the Plague/Basin
A valid, solid clue, the best one you have. Judging by everyone else's responses, lots of herd leaders were blocked, which meant that it was a good, clear clue.

2- We can mix two different threads. -> Threads as in fur/hair. Psyche's body consists of two opposite colors, black and white.
This could be (and was) interpreted many different ways. Many people took this to mean a sibling reference, a colour reference, a breed reference, etc. It is not specific enough to refer only to Psyche.

3- The thread your using is a combo of two. -> The basin is made of the plague and the regular herd.
This clue is pretty much the same as the above clue. Not specific enough, interpreted in many different ways. Especially as you repeated 'threads' - it is illogical to use threads as the trigger word in the previous line to mean fur, and then repeat it and have it mean nothing at all.

Isn't it pretty? -> The red rune at the base of her horn is pretty. I consider psyche as a pretty mare.
This is entirely subjective, we as the riddle solvers do not know your subjective opinion on Psyche's appearance. If it were a quote from her profile, that would be more applicable.

Overall, it is not specific enough, and employs a clue that contains information the general public do not have access to (Vallie's thoughts??).

RE: Needlepoint Guide Thing - Alex - 05-30-2013

I have to agree and fail this.

As whit says, the clues aren't terribly specific, and some simply aren't true.

The first seems to imply that she is not the boss, and that she is trying to prove to another unicorn that she is.
The second is okay, but is very vague and applies to many characters.
The issue with the third is that it's simply false. Members of the plague aren't all in the Basin
The fourth clue is entirely too objective; As a rule, never use an opinion of your own as a clue.
