@[Glacia] Our boys are equine-unicorn hybrids, but they appear as unicorns because they have horns, so I am not sure how this could work.

maybe you guys want to have a hand in it? Somehow, somewhen... Not outright kill her, I don't think, but maybe bully her sweet baby girl and get wounded intervening at least? Erthë needs someone to hate and I need a way to introduce sickness and weakness in an otherwise ridiculously healthy mare.
FYI Shadow can kick butt if she has to, so you prolly won't get off for free ;D
