Mending broken bones [Parelia] - Arrane - 01-07-2014

The moon shone calmly on ivory fur, lighting it up like a ghost as one filly gazed with glowing orbs. The other seemed dark as shadows with chocolate eyes, glowing, directed at the ghostly stallion. "What do you want?" Steady words were uttered out of the taut warrior's lips, gazing at the two familiar girls. "You don't remember us, big brother?" The smaller, pale filly spoke with a saddened tone, her vocals softened. "How dare", the other one hissed with hatred and hurt, present in her brash voice. "Willow...Leila...I love you both, but I left for...for the best", did he really?

The vision vanished as sunlight streamed through leaves awakening him that day. Since then the warrior was bothered, hearing their words replay and grasping the dull pain of leaving them back in his old lands. But they should be happy, under the safety of their parents. Sighing and flipping a strand of bicolor hair out of his eyes, Arrane slowly continued his leisurely walk, getting out of the Threshold and Foothills area. It wasn't that he minded being with a herd--of course not, he loved them with his life--but, it was nice to be free every so often and explore the wilds, keeping to himself, or even meeting new horses.

The day was gloomy, gray clouds overhead and an impending storm, but Arrane wouldn't mind much if he got a little bit wet. After all, it was just water. The grass whispered ominously as it swayed in the wind, a dark foreshadow of what would happen next.

RE: Mending broken bones [Parelia] - Parelia - 01-09-2014

The lithe cremello body thrashed as she slept. The dream mare was grazing in the Heavenly fields enjoying the warm sun on her back. Suddenly her skin felt like it was crawling, her pelt prickling with fear. Her head flew up her mane teal streaked forelock whipping around her face, from a sudden intense wind. Her instincts were screaming at her to run, and she was not about to argue. Her legs struck out at the ground hooves pounding, her tail flying behind her. She turned her head white rimmed eyes taking in the terrible sight behind her. Darkness was moving swiftly towards her encasing everything in a terrible darkness. She through all she had into her body stretching herself to the max. It was futile there was no way she could out run the fear, the dark. Falling she was falling, to her death.

Then she was awake sweat lacing her body her sides heaving as if she really had been running. Lifting her body from the ground she decided to walk to the fields to check and see. See what, she had no idea, but she had to go. She moved slowly her legs shaking slightly brain buzzing. A little while later she reached the field her honey brown eyes gazing around her. It all looked the same, besides the white stallion. She cast a weary glance at the cloudy sky, a storm was coming, but she didn't mind the rain. At this point she would welcome it to wash the dried sweat from her body.

She let a welcoming whinny bubble from her lunges before trotting over to him. She smiled warmly at her heard mate, Arrane. "What are you doing up here?" She dipped her head in greeting slowing to a halt in front of the handsome alabaster Arabian stallion. She stretched her neck out attempting to touch his shoulder her ears pricked forward.

ARRANE
I will always be there, for you

A friendly nicker broke him out of his intense thoughts, averting his gaze to the beautiful cremello mare. He recognized her as his herd mate, Parelia, the quiet fae he had met once in the Foothills. "I need to take a break of being so much around the Threshold and Foothills", deep chuckles emitted from his chest. Running towards the pegasus, ears pricked forward and jovial cyan eyes, he felt her nuzzle touch his shoulder.

Craning his head towards her, he gently prodded her neck with a bright smile. The wind blew quickly down upon them, and a slight frown played upon his lips. A storm was now approaching. "Now, my question...What brings you out here, Miss Parelia", blinking once, the grass around them started billowing. Maybe it was just an impending storm, just presenting gales of wind.

But something worse was on way. Something that Arrane couldn't comprehend at the moment. But a darkness was approaching. Somewhere and quickly, it was dawning upon the land of Helovia, casting a new sense of heavy dread upon the white stallion. Breaking out of the amiable embrace with Parelia, he faced her with a serious face. "Something isn't right", a whisper sounded from velvety lips as he faced the sky with a forlorn look.

Averting blue eyes back to Parelia's orbs, he scanned her body momentarily, realizing small traces of wounds from some sort of fight. Sweat caked her lithe form, and a frown now masked his face. "Did something happen, Parelia?" Noting these scars that weren't present before, Arrane became concerned. Nervous, concerned, troubled. The warrior male was now acting out of character.
