Twins of Awesome! Design Contest - Lace - 03-02-2014 They don't know it yet, but Lace and @[Nyx] will create magic! Magic as in gorgeous babies played by yours truly and Semper, who generously offers a twin pass for this to happen. :D We would greatly appreciate help in designing these adorable critters! For the sake of your creativity and to keep ourselves open to all possibilities we will give you completely free hands in this; there fore there will be no personal preferences, no wishes regarding gender or race or anything like that! Go wild, do whatever you want and hopefully your design will be chosen! For now a time limit will be set to the end of this month, by which time Semper and I will choose one design each to receive a price. This will be regardless of whether we choose to actually use that design or not! Design Contest - Lace - 03-03-2014 For those interested in the genetic aspect of their color potentials, here's an estimate from me on what colors Lace and Nyx as well as their parents have. Note that these are guesses on my part, and may not be accurate. Lace: Silver grullo Lace Mother: Chocolate silver dapple/silver black Lace Father: Grullo Inheritable markings: Cobwebbing, dun markings, Black tree, gold burn-mark Nyx: Gray (on black) Nato: Black Tobiano Querida: Gray (on ?) alt grullo? some kind of gray color, very similar to Nyx. Inheritable markings: Tobiano, dark legs, electrical blue spiral marking (Querida had one) Other: Eye colors predominantly come in red, blue and amber. RE: Twins of Awesome! Design Contest - Illynx - 03-22-2014 Twin Set #1: Grey or grullo minimal dapple with black points, white right rear stocking, piebald face, "skunk" tail and mane, blue eyes; foal A has a tree marking along the white outline of the facial marking and foal B has a spiderweb marking. Give or take horns, of course. :3 Twin Set #2: Standard grey with blue eyes and gold ghosting; foal A has four white stockings and a piebald face and foal B is dark pointed. Twin Set #3: Standard grey splash tobiano with blue eyes; inverted patterning. Twin A has "skunk" mane and tail. RE: Twins of Awesome! Design Contest - Dusk - 03-22-2014 Black tobiano with electric streaks at the ends of mane and tail. I tried to incorporate Lace's tree marking into the white marking on the shoulder, with roots spiraling down into the leg. The hoof is gold-ish with electric blue stripes. Gold horn tip, blue eyes. Design Contest - Brisa - 04-30-2014 This gave me a lot of ideas, so here is my first set of twins. I will likely post others when I get a chance to make them haha. Twin One: Silver grullo with darkened lower legs and partial muzzle, golden burned cobweb markings around mid legs fading into silver. Silver dorsal stripe threading off into silver hairs into mane and tail. Electric Blue horn with bi coloured iris, part amber part blue with amber being central and blue around sides Twin 2: Dark silver grullo tobaino with dark lower legs, silver hooves, golden dun striping midway up legs, blue eyes. Black mane and tail with white tips and blue electric streaks from the top.
