Sunchaser cannot protect herself because she is part of a herd. Only outcast characters can protect themselves. If the leaders or warriors of the herd think one of their herdmembers is in danger then it's their responsibility to protect them :3

It was all various personality clues, really. The past tense of felt suggested the difference between now and then- with sno in his life he has warmed up a bit.
Then there is the pattern of every other line beginning with f to signify fff, the hex code for white
and the three lines signifying nothing, or zero, to lead to 000, black. f0f0f0 is also a light gray that is exactly his coloring.
Six lines to represent age.
