- Aurelia can be very sardonic at times. A synonym of sardonic is mocking, and Aurelia often mocks Kahlua along with a few other horses. Aurelia is very secretive. She doesn't always say everything, but in other cases she does, so I am not too sure about this.
Vitreous and pristine,
- Though Aurelia is not exactly like glass, perhaps this just means glass-like in the sense that glass is see-through. A metaphor for horses easily being able to 'see through' her? Vitreous is also a part of an eye, so maybe it is supposed to say that she looks pristine, because she does.

- (Definition of absconding: leave hurriedly and secretly, typically to avoid detection of or arrest for an unlawful action such as theft.) So, Aurelia has broken quite a few laws and up to now, has always left before she has been punished. Though she has been detected, she still tries to avoid getting punished. Not too long ago, she left Helovia for a few days. This could be her hiding from the world.
