The Sun God had warned her about this place; the evil that swarmed through the murky depths of the marshy wetland. Perhaps it hadn't been his direct intention, but he had made her weary none the less - so much that she dreaded that her unsavory destination would soon unfold before her brooding, pensive eyes.
In a parallel fashion, there was a strange fascination that fueled her movements, a sickly inquisitiveness that likely slandered her reluctance to visit there, at least to some modest extent. A dose of curiosity was all the roan dame ever needed to transgress her ambivalence and it likewise sedated her spurning impulsiveness. There was a subjective necessity to complete the quest that had been bestowed upon her by the Goddess of the Moon, and the pressingness had been amplified
