new life :: - Official - 06-09-2012 Random Event April 15th, 2012 at 12:15pm On your travels, just on the outskirts of the great Heart of Helovia, your egg which you have hunted for and protected begins to stir. You notice its movements almost immediately, as cracks begin to form in its surface. From your little makeshift basket, a piece of shell appears. Then another, then another. A new life is emerging. [ I didn't know which type of companion you wanted. It's royal class, so it can be a snake, crocodilian, or frog. Your choice of species! ] Umbra April 26th, 2012 at 8:30am Crackle, crackle.' The sound caused the lithe black mare to glide to a stop in her travels. Her pink eyes were illuminated with curiosity as she wondered where that sound had come from. Her neck arched, her ears erected as she swung her head from side to side. She must be going crazy. It was just her and the egg - her precious little babe thrumming with life in its' shell confinements. She lowered her head to the ground to allow the makeshift basket looped around her horn to slide gently to the Earth. Oh... oh my! It was her glorious little creature finally attempting to make an appearance in the world! The shade felt an anxiety creep into her bones as she watched with wonder. She had her morsels ready for it to consume. 'Come my sweet, come!' The mare thought eagerly, delightedly, as she continued to watch its' struggle from the egg. [HMM... so Royal class could entail a black mamba snake perhaps? I'm not sure what breeds are allowed lol] Random Event April 27th, 2012 at 2:20pm [ A black mamba is fine, but it would have to be only around 6ft fully grown. ] The egg quickly pulled itself apart before your bright eyes. The creature inside wriggled free of its cell, breathing in the air around it for the first time. A dark eye opens to gaze at you for the first time, the pale body slowly coiling out onto the earth. With small movements, it curves its way toward the smell of the corpses, your hunting splendors. Without so much as a glance of permission the snake digs into your offerings, quickly devouring what you have brought. A sudden flash of clarity rings through your mind, as well as that of the black mamba snake at your feet. You can feel the brilliance of light being taken in by the small creature for the first time, as well as the satiated hunger. Excitement is the undertone in the creature's mind, but this snake knows yours as well. Congratulations, you have bonded with a black mamba snake! |
