A dark dappled bay mare delicately picked her way along the path trodden by so many horses before her. This spiritual road was slightly worn, but it carried a strong, powerful aura. The dame shifted her head, and her thick black mane fell to the other side of her face and around her long, swirling white horn. She glanced around wearily. Dirt dusted her white socks, but- somehow- a bounce was still in the unicorn's step.

Her surroundings seemed warm and cool at the same time, causing her coat to feel uncomfortable and a little numb. By now, time was blurring together. All she knew was that her hooves were still striking the ground rhythmically.
