Also HOW is he healing with plants? Like, some rub mud on it, res uses her hair, some sing, etcetc.

Amended on healing with plants:
[Magic - Earth x Light: ability to heal creatures with plants by mushing plants into a paste and rubbing on patient, limited to physical damage by physical means and unable to heal damage caused by magic]
So, if he chews up the plant and rubs the paste onto the patient e.g. against a physical wound, then that's how it heals.
Is this sufficient?
