Knox's Sneaky Return: WE WANT YOU - Ashamin - 05-17-2015
Hello all!
So as some may have already heard, Knox is returning. For those unfamiliar with him, you can check him out HERE (and give me feedback on his profile, though still a work in progress, while you're at it if you want.) I intend to bring him back sometime next week. Thing is, it's been a long time since he's been in Helovia and he's going to have to catch up. What I want him to do is sort of make a grand tour of Helovia, starting at the threshold then travelling south to deep forest, meadow, caves, etc, and circling back up and around and maybe through the middle sometimes; the order is listed below.
And you can help!
Knox, being who he is, doesn't feel like saying hi to anybody just yet and revealing himself, especially since he has no clue where his family is (or that many of them are gone) and he doesn't trust many people other than that (except maybe Mesec, and the Roanne in him would also trust Evangeline <3.) So he's going to sneak around for a while, using his cloaking magic and sometimes his shifting magic to not be noticed or recognize. Once he feels he's back in the know, he'll start being normal again.
So, if you feel like being part of Knox's grand tour and getting spied on (he might just pop in for a post or two and then leave, sort of ghosting by,) post a link to a thread here! I'm going to go in the order of where they fall on the map, so threshold will be first, etc. It doesn't matter what your thread is about, and it doesn't have to be something that Knox would care about or understand. It can be two foals playing or a quest thread or some sexy times in the secret grove, Knox doesn't care who he spies on.
When linking your thread, please also include if Knox has permission to use his blinding magic and Manhattan has permission to use her magic to terrorize or poison. Linking a thread here automatically gives me permission to use his cloaking magic. When he is using it, he is unable to be detected but your characters might get a weird sense that they are being watched, depending on how perceptive they are. Chances are he and Manhattan won't use these other magics, but who knows, they might want to mess around. Note that the blinding magic is not permanent, but can be if you so desire, as was the case with Myrddin.
I am willing to take more than one thread in one location but request that you pick locations that aren't yet filled before doing that. Note that he has a particularly special connection to his birthplace, the Deep Forest.

Permission to: be unseen, use his poisoning/terrorizing magic (Iso can heal herself ... so it might be fun for him to wonder why it isn't taking such a strong effect?) and/or try to blind her.

Mesec needs to get a patrol going in the Secret Grove so Knox can be sneaky sneaky (or not sneaky depending on if he's moved to reveal himself) there? I can give you the link once I post him :)

Sounds great, @[Roskuld]! Post the link here when you've got it. One of Knox's first explorations was to the Arch when he was a colt, he met Mauja and Enki there.

Omg yes of course @[Linds] I have always wanted to RP with Essetia. Plus Manhattan will be happy to see another canine companion. DT border works (Though @[Sikeax] mentioned maybe wanting to take that one) but if you want to do the wilds you can also pick wherever. Heart caves would make sense bc it is close to the DT border and also next in the order of ones I need from top to bottom. Totally up to you!
