She needed him, needed to find him, and feel the hope he gave her. Penna flew around her sweeping around her body his wounds from the fight with the tiger now healed. He was still a little tender, but he was going to be just fine. Parelia on the other hand, her leg was still a mess. If she moved it to much the wound would reopen. It was painful, but her confused and lonely heart was much worse. Would he be here? Would he even want to see her? Shoving the thoughts away angrily she thought of the last time they had been together, and she hoped he felt better. He had a terrible raspy cough last time they had been together. he had also given her a nickname, no one had ever given her such a friendly thing. Firebug. He had called her his firebug. She had been looking for a knight all her life, but maybe she needed a bad boy. Someone that knew she could handle herself, but would help if she required it. Even though the falcon didn't want to get hurt again, he knew her ideas were right. His cream dove needed someone that would protect her only when they couldn't handle it.
So they searched as the sun slowly rose around them. Pinks, purples, and light blues painted the slight covering of clouds around the duo. Growing tired from searching all night she sought out a beach from parking spot. Before making her decent towards the sandy beach she called out, for him. She needed his good humor, his warm welcoming touch. He had never judged her, never looked at her with anything but friendship, and well, lust. She didn't care that he wanted her that way, right now she would embrace that. She wanted to give herself to him, to hand a small broken piece of her to him. Trust was something she lacked right now, and she just couldn't bear to give him all of the shattered remnants of her love. Circling she finally sound a suitable place for her hooves. 'Easy.' Penna's sweet voice sounded in her head, hoping she would not damage the fragile scab on her back leg. It wasn't easy landing with only three good legs. She found herself flipping to the ground face first into the gritty particles. Breath puffed from her lunges as she came to a halt on her uninjured side. Penna screeched his worry flying over her checking to make sure she was alright. After a few moments and some nice words to him she rose and checked her leg. The edges were peeling up a bit, blood oozing a little, but it wasn't any worse than it had been. Sad honey eyes turned up towards the painted sky waiting and hoping for her grullo stallion. The cream dove sighed softly as she watched the sun slowly rise higher and higher into the sky. She had been so sure he would be close by that the duo had stuck close to their initially landing space. Parelia had ventured off the beach only to graze her ears constantly flickering, praying he would show up. It had always been a sure thing that the so called, "knights" in her life would have just appeared on time, that it was hard to wait around for Gull. The mare knew she had to see him; he would take her mind away. He alone could ease the burning torment within her soul.
The burning sun was just reaching it's highest point when Penna called through their bond. She jerked up instantly and trotted stiffly back tot he beach eyes searching the sandy dunes for him. As his white and grullo frame topped the rise she called out. Gull. He was finally here; fun as always. "Oh Gull, I've missed." She grinned instantly feeling her stress and anguish falling away. He had the strangest affect on her; she loved it. His voice, smile, and jokes soothed the burning nasty memories and thoughts. Laughter poured from a now relaxed body at his question. "Well, this was this huge tiger from the Rift. She left me with a nice little tooth mark though." She inclined her dainty dome towards her right haunch. Shrugging the mare smiled up at him. 'Penna, will you...?' He took the hint and flew off intent on getting far away. "You sound so much better!" She smiled and limped closer extending her wings out a sly smile playing across her muzzle. Unable to help herself the girl reached out to him. Parelia tried to run her muzzle along his neck before attempting to playfully tug at his mane a playful grin on her face. Speaking Penna Words; 314

She smiled softly up at him thinking of the last time they had been together. Thoughts tumbled through her head as she watched him. They had been so close together, so ready to become more than friends, but she had stopped him. The dove sighed softly as she thought of the reasons she had used to justify it. Her heart shattered slightly as she watched the stallion. Shoving the thoughts away the mare smiled softly.
She smiled warmly up at him and relished the look he gave her back. Her words were met with a deep affectionate nicker. Gods she had missed him. She enjoyed the kind looks he gave her as he inspected her new scabbed over wound. "I wish I had been the one to deal the death blow, but I did help." She smiled softly at him as his whiskers sent a shivering tingle up her side. The tingles were chased by a burning, an amazing sense enhancing fire. She enjoyed the simple touch as he pulled away to speak. "I'll just add it to my other ones." Memories tried to flood her mind, instead she shoved them roughly away. Pink hairless scares crisscrossed her body, blanketing her pale hide. She spoke quickly trying to change the topic from her patchwork of marks. She smiled softly as he spoke, "Oh I liked the rasp, but not the cough She laughed softly enjoying his joking. Her own tinkling laughter spilled from her lips. As her lightly whiskered muzzle ran over his grey and white neck she tried to sidle closer to his warm side. Then he spoke again asking how much it would take to make her kick the bucket. Honey eyes turned to catch his blue gaze and she smiled softly. "Well, just ask that bitch I told you about. You know, she tried to spear my wing off. That's why I traded to get the glass armor." She smiled softly and cast a loving look down at the turquoise encrusted glass. Turning back to the grullo stud she tried to press against him. Her teal and white waved playfully trying to teasingly smack his face. "How about we pick up where we left off last time?" She grinned and winked playfully up at his handsome face. Bright honey eyes watched the Grulla stallion smiling softly. Did she really love this stallion? She searched her heart for a moment trying to make sense of the flood of feelings. Drowning, the mare was sure she was drowning, her thoughts, memories, and the heartache pounded through her soul. How was she ever supposed to be even half way normal again? So many things had happened to her, and because of her. A touch of sadness her mask couldn't hide slipped into her liquid amber eyes. Shoving the ideas and thoughts away she smiled softly up at him. Parelia knew she would have to explain her past to him at some point, tell him more than she had ever told anyone. Now was not that time. Long teal and cream hairs flashed before his face, beckoning him closer. A sly playfully smile slowly melted the mask she so carefully guarded. It wasn't that hard for the broken mare to loose herself in this playful and secretive stud. She knew there was more to him, and hoped in time he would reveal those parts he kept hidden. His sides shuddered under her touch sending a shiver down her own spine. His sultry vocals tickled her ears and brought a giggle from her own velvet lips. "Oh, you'll see." She whispered trying to ease her muzzle down his shoulder. Then his own muzzle touched her back. Fire burned through over her hide spurring on her motives. After a few painstakingly long moments he asked her the question she had never expected from him. Was it not obvious to him how she longed to be nearer to him? Her own voice breathy with excitement, "More than you know..." Her voice trailed softly as everything faded into a lovely dream. Words;; 296 Tags/OOC;; @Gull fade to black ;) |
