However, Kiara is also an irish name meaning 'swarthy' or 'little dark one'.
The Little Match-Seller is a fairytale by H.C. Andersen about a little girl, so there is also a gender reference.

Kiara is an equine and thus has a 'bare head', ie. no horn. Species reference.
luck may lie in a pin.
Fluff, name of another H.C. Andersen story

The keyword here is red, a color reference.

She is close with Breeze, he knows her very well, thus a relationship reference.

More fluff, but also ironic since Kiara had a pretty effed up childhood.

Trout is a spotted fish, so this is a breed reference, as Kiara is an appaloosa.

Jittery is a synonym for nervous, so this is a personality reference,
as well as shivery, because she tends to be just that around stallions.

Pass
Some of the fluff was misleading, which is why after first look, I was on the fence about passing.
The three clues however which, to me, signify that it is clear enough to pass are:
1. bare head --> equine
2. “I know every stone of it,” says the wind. --> close with Breeze
3. House reference, red --> color reference
However, these lines were misleading to the point of not passing:
They were a rich, noble family,
born in affluence and nurtured in luxury,
--> Any "fluff" that is a direct antagonist to the truth is not entirely fair to the guessers
However, even with that, I believe that there are sufficient clues to point to Kiara.
