Irrydae stood silently close to the pit of the heart of helovia. The heat radiated on her pelt, and she closed her golden eyes, enjoying the warm heat that was radiating on her. A soft sigh escaped her, as her mind drifted in and out of sleep. She had made the trek from the Threshold, to the beach she heard was called 'Endless Blue' and now back to to where she stood now. It was growing dark, but had not yet reached sunset and long shadows were being cast from her still form. She inched forward slowly, peering down into the gaping hole. Flames licked the sides and burned ravenously. While the mare had not been here for long, many wonders had crossed her mind. What if the fire went out? What would happen to Helovia?

But it wouldn't go out. Ever. It was a fire that nothing could do to stop it's burning. It was unreal. But here it was. Things were different here at Helovia then where she used to live, it was hard to get used to. Irry knew there was a lot more to learn about this place- but she knew she would over time. She liked it here. A soft wind tugged at her creamy tresses, and they blew listlessly, her tail twirling around her hind legs. The scent of smoke filled her nares and a slight cough escaped her mouth as she stepped back, letting her head drop slightly as fresh air filled her lungs again.

Had anyone fallen into the fire? She felt pity for whoever had before- she couldn't even imagine what the pain would be like. Irry pushed her large star covered wings out, the purple magnified against the pale yellow sky, the sun now just barely reaching the horizon. Her stars were seeming to sparkle and shimmer and she watched them fade in and out of view as it got darker, rich, deep colors filling the sky.
