Please note that you will have to provide an explanation for how Cormac was able to attempt this stealth, or successfully carry it out should it pass, while he was within the water. If no explanation is provided, it will be assumed he left the water and his quest will be voided. As you have already begun the stealth, it cannot be rescinded and an explanation must be provided.

I actually believe this is void due to a misunderstanding of the rules.
"Once a character has received the new companion from the Random Event, a 2 week count down begins. In this time the companion can be given away or stolen through plot or challenge."
This was aimed towards d'Artagnan's hellhound. I thought that unbonded could be stolen, until recently.
