Hell gates are open || Aaron, hatching. - NPC - 02-15-2013

The orb of life that had been near Aaron recently seem to hum with a life of its own. It emanated an energy, it picked up a curious glow. From somewhere within its depths, a rumbling began, before suddenly, a gaping crack appeared down the side of the orb.

The glow within brightened at this fracture, and the orb gave a mighty shake, even rolling along the ground a few feet. The crack widened, the glowing stopped, and in its wake, was the hellhound youth that had grown within it. It barked, demanding attention, and then it growled demanding food.

Its keen eyes glanced to the Mason that stood near, and as its eyes locked into the painted steed's, it struck out with its mind; and felt the strange sensation that was their souls entwining.

[ Congrats! The Hellhound is now yours to play! ]

A light sweat coated the painted Mason's coat, as he had run to be there at the arrival of the being inside the egg. Warm brown eyes watched as the egg seemed to hum at first, before a crack appeared down the side. Near by was the food be had hunted for, his hopes high for a hellhound. It seemed the Gods were smiling down on him today as out fell a hellhound, small, barking and growling. Carefully Aaron reached over and placed a squirrel in front of the pup. She did not waste a second before diving in and beginning to eat.

Eagerly the white pup ate the squirrel and eagerly looked for more. This process was repeated four more times with different small mammals. As he made sure the pup had food to eat, it was almost as if he could feel a strange sensation in his mind. Although the pup could not yet speak, her personality was strong in his mind. "My Alanna." With that the bond was sealed between them. Aaron and Alanna, bonded for life. Gently the steed tucked his legs down and pressed the now full and sleepy pup against his side. Tomorrow they would have much to learn together, not to mention she had many friends and family to meet. He allowed his mind to wander, picturing each family member and thinking of the name. His mind lingered on Kimber, wondering how she was doing as well. A soft bark from the pup reminded him of her presence, something that he would have to get used to as he was no longer alone in his mind and soul.
