The half-bird, half-woman hag returns to Helovia, a new egg wrapped in the clutches of her feathered arms. She sits in a familiar tree- one so old and gnarled one might wonder how it still stands. Now, how the old tree got from the Deep Forest to the very edge of the pit at Helovia’s Heart is another matter entirely; a secret for only the old hag to know, perhaps. Regardless, she sits upon it, toes curled around a branch, bent knees and hunched back making angular shapes upon her body. She is surely an ugly creature, and mischievous in many ways, but she loves every egg that she has ever found and she only wants the best for each and every one.

Cawing out, her ancient and scratching voice stretches across the expanses of Helovia. Horses would come- they always came.

“Horses,” she commands when she is satisfied with who has approached. “Tell me a story.” There she stops to cackle and caw, bouncing a few times upon her tree branch as she looks down. When just enough time has passed, when the horses have perhaps accepted the fact that they have an easy task set out before them, she winks and adds some rules. “Tell it in alphabetical order, from a to z, one word per letter. Don’t let me down.” Cackling a few more times, she rustles her feathers and settles in to await what wondrous stories would surely grace her ears.

You must tell a 26 word story (or at least a sentence(s) that makes a moderate amount of sense), each word starting with one letter of the alphabet, in order. For example:
A bear climbs down eagerly from gargantuan hemlocks in, etc., etc
