There was a fire starting in her heart as she poured it out to the Gaucho. Passion lit her gaze as she glanced up at him, her brow raising regally as she grew more impassioned. For so long, she had wondered what was missing in her life, why she could not seem to find her way, to find her purpose. And yet... as she considered the possibility of being able to truly protect herself and, better yet, her family, she found a new exhilaration that had never risen within her before. She had fought so long to hold peace in her heart, terrified of the darkness that violence had brought to her family. Never had she considered that if she had been able to fight, they might not all be dead now. The excitement coursed through her veins even as the WildFire stepped away, regarding her coolly. There was something new and electric in the air between them, something that she could not name. Gone was the fiery passion of their romance, replaced by an unspoken challenge. They had for so long been tied by lust, then by love, but this - this was entirely different, enticing and catching, as though the very air around them might combust at any moment. She had relied on his touch for so long that the distance was foreign. She welcomed it, beckoned it forward, jittery with anticipation. Things had changed, somehow. She hoped it would be for the better. "Then teach me," she taunted. She waited, a flicker of fear surfacing with the adrenaline - but she had to start somewhere, and there was no turning back now. Muscles tensed and wings half-extended, she watched her mate for a reaction to her invitation.
