quote

She traveled far, soaring over the smoky meadows and hills. A true witness to those that had been affected by the horrors of her new world—there are places that had once been beautiful and now they had become wasteland. Places of solitude had turned into a vision of desperation; light seemed to be swallowed by the sickly white skeletal trees where not even crows would sit astride. Shadows deepened, sharping everything they touched until even twigs looked almost deadly. Where was her companion’s lord now? Destroying this horrible creation with his mighty words and touch.

The phoenix couldn’t understand everything, nay she was till mostly an adolescent. But there were parts in her mind that she did grasp. Food had become harder to find, and half the outcasts seemed to be running around with foamy jaws. Prey that normally ran the land and sky seemed terrified of their new masters, they had either fled—or dove deep underground in an early hibernation.

Fina traveled to her new home, soaring over what remained of the deep forest. There were signs that a few residents obviously were still seeking protection from inside the hauntingly oppressing timbers. Morning was fixing to crest over yon hill as she drove through the loose canopy, shrieking out to those that still remained within, those that weren’t walking dead—she lacked golden feathers to bring as proof of her mission from Midas. Perhaps someone would be smart and remember who this mystical creature was….follow her home—perhaps not.

OOC: Fina is on her way home, she is in the woods to warn asylum of the coming darkness in the best way she can.

FAELON.
trust your heart, let fate decide
rambling fae rambling fae"to guide these lives"

The dark forest had become like a home to the wandering ghost. Trees sheltered him from overexposure to the sun, bringing great relief to the wandering man. Stumped on what he should do in life, what the currents of time will present to him, Faelon was troubled on whether he wanted join the Basin or not. It was a decision that he could not make yet unless meeting other unicorns. Not a racist soul, the ivory stallion was completely against the idea of rejecting others due to their species.

Huffing silently, he continued a leisurely stroll through the woods, gazing around often with curious orbs. The plants that grew on the ground intrigued him as with the little critters that made their habitats in the thick trunks of the trees. With a little sigh, emerald eyes continued gazing at all the beautiful scenery until a resonant shriek ripped through the air. Momentarily startled, his whole body jolted, ears shooting into the air, whites of his eyes showing.

There was trouble. A phoenix flew gracefully through the air, letting a warning call crash through the sky. Nickering in response, it intrigued him as to what the bird was alerting horses in the area about. Racing after it, Faelon knew it would be a "dainty" run through the place, following the tracks of the swift bird.
