Laws of the World's Edge
General
  1. Any species can be recruited to the Edge.
  2. All new recruits must be accepted by Tier 1 or Tier 2.
  3. Herd meetings called by Tier 1 (King/Queen) are mandatory. The Emissary may call a meeting in place of the King or Queen. These occur once per season.
  4. Meetings called by Tier 2 rank are mandatory to those in that ranking.
  5. The Moon Goddess is the patron goddess of the World’s Edge. Members are not required to worship her.
  6. Entering a rank is not required, but recommended to support the infrastructure of the herd.
  7. New: Herd members must make 1 post per month.
  8. New: Characters with rank magic (King, Queen, Emissary, Seer, Specters, Moon Doctors, Glaziers, General, Captains, Sergeant) must make 3 posts per month.
  9. New: An extended absence (5 days or more) will exempt you from the posting requirements. Monthly postings can be found here.

Rank Specific
For rank tasks vist here.

  1. Tier 1 and 2 are expected to complete three rank-specific tasks per season.
  2. Tier 3 are expected to complete two rank-specific tasks per season.
  3. Tier 4 are expected to complete one rank-specific tasks per season.
  4. Exceeding expected number of rank tasks (combined with activity), will lead to promotions.
  5. Failure to complete expected rank tasks may lead to demotions.
  6. Meetings held by Tier 2 for that rank are mandatory.
  7. Any member may request to be a Tier 4 on the Character Rank Updates board (found here.) Tier 3 and 2 will be appointed by Leads and/or admin.

Transgressions
You broke the Law of the Edge?
  • First :: Discussion with King/Queen/Emissary
  • Second :: Punishment determined by King/Queen/Emissary
  • Third :: Exiled and excommunicated from the Edge
