Dead men tell no tales.

For @[Dsiox] & Anyone!
---
It wasn't all that long of a journey from Threshold to Hidden Falls. She stalked the shadows where the sun grew too bright, her tail that grew longer each passing month trailed along the floor in tangles and knots of grassy hair. She was pretty in her shrouds of weathered dark and the cardinal tips to her wings identified her as Ghost. If the banshee could change anything about her appearance then it would be those red tips, they made it more difficult to hide in dark corners though she rather liked that it looked almost dipped in blood. Her crown stood unmoving atop her head, her most prized dagger, the part of her that tied together both pegasus and unicorn. There was not a drop of equine blood in Ghost and on the odd occasion she wished that was not the case. Her hybrid blood was cause for many conversations, many whisperings that the banshee would much like to carry on her life without. Although she seemed vacant, her posture neutral and her gaze unnerving, Ghost did feel all the emotions any other would. Her affliction... Her inability to recognise each and often this left her with the one feeling she was beginning to know quite well; confusion.

Yet, Ghost was slowly getting better at handling herself. The more she pushed to be involved the more she brought down the suffocating barriers. Her cloven hooves took her to the well hidden entrance to the Hidden Falls, making her movements very deliberate as so the mare she presumed may be following could see and understand where she was going. It would do no good to claim a new recruit and lose her on the way home. She stalked behind the waterfall, the thunderous noise covering any sound they made until finally the earth moved downward onto more grassy, welcoming ground where one could hear themselves think.

She fell to a halt and looked out briefly across the Falls before glancing behind her to try find the form of Dsiox. The quiet little rabbit whom she'd clawed from two others in the claiming arena. She hoped the dappled girl would be a little more inclined with her words this time, at least so she could understand a little of what the mare might like to pursue in her time spent here. "Welcome to the Hidden Falls" she started off with, as if the crashing water all around them hadn't alerted her new companion already. "If you have any questions, ask them now" she offered the mare her ears willing to listen.

Dsiox followed a long obsidion tail that parted the tall grass in front of her. It was framed by the two crimson-tipped wings that she had started to become fond of. She wondered where they were getting off to. It seemed like Ghost was leading her to some abandoned and wild place. After trekking in the meadows for quite some time she came up behind a waterfall. It was so loud. Water pounded the ground and water sprayed her side. She saw a few nymphs flittering around the base and some floating fish. They were so colorful. Blues, greens, oranges, and yellows flittered around. They created several little pods of color that were also being misted by the falls. They floated through the air in a magical fashion and played amongst one another. The nymphs carried on with their business, doing what Dsiox thought could only be described as chores. Moving her half-closed turquoise gems away from the water, and squinted her eyes more than usual to try to see where the black mare had gone to. She had stood for more than a few seconds to see the peaceful nymphs and saw the black mare's tail flick as she turned. Dsiox trotted lithely through the grass like a silent field mouse. Her long and slender legs spread through the green in a demure fashion. It was much quieter away from the falls...but Dsiox quite liked the falls. They were so playful.

Finally Ghost stopped and Dsiox jumped at her finally becoming motionless. She hadn't a clue where they were headed to so she wasn't sure when they would be stopping. Ghost's muscled bum loomed in front of Dsiox and she stepped to the side, head slightly lowered. The beautiful dark mare turned her chiseled head around and searched for half a second to see if Dsiox was there. Dsiox's small body stood closer than she ever had to the mare. Her eyes were in another world as she looked around, away from the black form beside her. She saw a wonderful world in the lushness of this place. Everything was full of life. A small smile spread across her face and she tilted her small fleabitten head toward the dagger and extra-handed mare. "Welcome to the Hidden Falls. If you have any questions, ask them now."

It took Dsiox a second to process as she wasn't exactly in her right mind with all of the creatures around her. In a small voice, though louder than a whisper, her smooth voice (almost of a sing-song quality) asked, "Where. Where exactly are we? More like you here?" Her sentences often weren't exactly complete but she usually got across her point. She gestured all around her as she asked if there were other souls here. Or...at least that's what she meant to ask.

She awaited a reply with a twinkle in her eye and hopefulness in her heart. There was no telling what was in store for the happy mare that never knew what was really happening around her. The egg at her side floated faithfully, waiting to reveal the prize that was inside. A special love for that tiny egg was starting to emerge. Dsiox had become quite fond of it...whatever it was.

Thanks! You've been awesome. Is Ghost allowed to have friends? (:

Dead men tell no tales.

She looked a little lost in her own world to Ghost's eyes, yet to mention it out loud would be hypocritical, the banshee was often more interested in the creations of her own mind than reality. However, the dappled girl finally spoke something more than he name and Ghost frowned briefly at her question. Perhaps she hadn't heard when the sprite introduced the land to her though her latter query was enough to bubble a quiet laugh to her lips. No, there was none like Ghost. She was one of a kind, the Necromancers spy, the shadow of the falls. It was an arrogant thought of an increasingly arrogant mind, the product of growth in self-confidence and social status. Though she portrayed none of this though her body with her eyes holding the same dull disinterest. She took a breath and nodded to all around them in a broad gesture before turning back to Dsiox. "Hidden Falls. All that you see is called the Hidden Falls." Easy enough.

"There are many that live and work here, though I doubt you will find many like me" she informed softly. As she spoke her mind was already randomly running through faces she had already met and their titles which they worked under. If Dsiox was to remain, she would have to pick a profession. Looking at the slender dove Ghost wondered what kind of role she would go for. If the sprite had to go on appearance she'd either say healer or crafter, her presumptions could be wrong however and Ghost was more than willing to recruit another into the secret agency of spies. Seele would surely be pleased!

She walked a little closer to Dsiox, her posture was still neutral and she fell to a halt again hopefully a couple of steps away. Her dark eyes hoping to capture the monochrome air head's attention. Ghost had never really actively involved herself in conversation, but the command of the Czarina echoed in her mind and the banshee pushed aside the niggling to simply walk away. "If you wish to remain, you must pick a profession. Do you have any skills?" She asked, watching her carefully.

[ooc; of course! xD Ghost is a little vacant, but you're always welcome to try ^^]

"Hidden Falls. All that you see is called the Hidden Falls. There are many that live and work here, though I doubt you will find many like me." She spoke softly though she looked like she was in a million places at once. She even appeared slightly bored with their interaction. The embers at her feet still blazed a small trail, though they had cooled slightly from their first meeting. The crackling was now familiar to the rose grey mare. The heat traveled through the air and heated Dsiox's right side. A few embers landed on her right front hoof and sizzled. She didn't flinch one bit. Ghost's wings were set low on her back and the crimson tips grazed the ground beside her, rustling the tall grass. The dappled mare and the obsidian mare were stark contrasts on the outskirts of what Dsiox would soon call her home. It was a new notion, and an exciting one, to have a home at all. All of her life Dsiox had been alone. There was no way she could even imagine what having friends and a family would be like. She could envision and live in her head forever but she couldn't make up a family for herself. It was just her and her tiny egg that circled her neck and nuzzled her as she walked. The sweet thing, whatever it was, loved her already.

She moseyed toward the small mare, eyes set on her. And then she spoke. "If you wish to remain, you must pick a profession. Do you have any skills?" Dsiox, who had finally turned her small face to face the stately mare, tilted her head. She was mulling over what she wanted to do. She had never been asked anything like this before. She? Do something? She had never contributed to anything. Ever. But maybe now she could start and feel useful? That is...if she was even capable of such a feeling. Whichever the case, it was a do or do not decision and she chose the former.

"I will be-Genetrix."
