Life was an undeniably sick thing. Abishia, the only fun that had ever walked into her life, had disappeared without a trace. It left her missing the fun, and the genuine good that existed. Without it, this world was a dark, desolate and evil place. So, where does one find such a "fun"? Can you just go looking for it?

That was when Elsa remembered someone. She was that cute little mare from the threshold looking for her family. Granted, she probably had no luck finding family, maybe Elsa could bring her in as a friend? Her eyes brightened and ears perked up. If there was one horse in the world she wasn't afraid of getting rejected by, it was little miss Drom. She just seemed to darn cute to have an evil bone in her body.

So, Elsa galavanted towards the middle of the Falls. The sound she could make there would echo endlessly off the cliff faces. There was no way Drom could miss her! She positioned herself, before lifting her head gleefully. What would bring a mare like her here? "Hey Drom!" She called out, followed by a small snicker. "Wanna do something fun?" It was the best Elsa could do, obviously she would no make a good saleswoman. She wanted to do something. Maybe tag or hide-n-go seek! Sure it was childish, but it would do the trick in pulling her mind away from the bad things. I mean seriously... who doesn't love tag! You get to willingly chase people, and it doesn't seem stalkerish! But hide-n-go seek... that game is the freaking shit.

She is called to, her name shouted into the air. At first, goldy has no idea who could be calling her. It couldn't be Midas or anyone else. Then she remembers the day from the Threshold, when the lovely snowflake girl had picked her up and brought her here-- brought her home. Without hesitance, Dröm quickly begins to move to the voice, and upon reaching the snowflake mare, she has already learnt that Elsa wants to do something with her. Dröm wonders what something fun could be. She never thought of Elsa as a party girl, but first impressions do not tell the whole story. "Elsa!" She says her name happily and moves to brush her muzzle against Elsa's. It's a friendly gesture that Dröm has used many times to greet horses. "What kind of fun?" She says playfully, already preparing to bolt off if she says tag, or something like that.

Dröm has recently become very fond of her home. The other night, she even got to help protect the herd! It was a good sign that Midas trusted her enough to save the herd. Or was he scared she wouldn't last if she was needed to fight the moss? Oh, it didn't matter to her! She was merely glad that someone trusted her enough to do something. It makes her feel even better that a friend is calling out to her. Elsa is certainly a friend now. There is no way to deny it. Soon, (hopefully) they'll be sharing secrets and giggles like real friends do! Dröm loves the feeling of a friend. She had one once, but her father murdered the friend. Mezzy was her name. Just the thought of the depressed little girl being murdered made her shudder. No matter how hard she tried to get that memory out of her mind, it was impossible. Her memory was much too good to forget her horrible past. All her siblings, dead. But, of course, the couple that managed to live-- to thrive.

Some could say Dröm is thriving. In her mind, there is no doubt. She is happy here. She can be relaxed, knowing she won't become queen of some morbidly horrible herd. She is relaxed knowing she wont have to take down other herds, empires, to be the best. It's nice knowing she has friends like Elsa that don't care if she's some noble queen or not. It's nice just being a Genetrix I.

Calling out someones name while standing in the middle of a field is in fact, weirder than it looks. Only a few moments after she had called out, she began to feel extremely self-conscious. There were probably others judging, and, if worse came to worse... what is Drom never showed? Well, worse things could happen, but she wasn't exactly fond of being left behind.

So, she waits impatiently for the chestnut mare. She seemed cute enough and- oh look! There she is! Elsa squeals gleefully as she trots to meet Drom halfway. She quickly asks about this fun, and Elsa begins to laugh. It wasn't a mean laugh, but it wasn't a "friendly" laugh. It was more like a loving "frenemy" laugh. She narrowed her eyes and took off. "Good luck finding me!" She called back, looking over her shoulder with a wink.

So Elsa takes off in a rush, eating up the ground in front of her. She heads from the Falls meadows towards the east, the pathway to the cells. If there is one place she knows like the front of her hoof, it's the setup of the cells. So she heads that way, past the pines lining the meadow, and towards the rock pile leftover from the cells. She curls up behind it, lowering herself to the ground, hoping Drom comes. Otherwise... well... it would be another unfortunately awkward situation, especially if someone like Midas was to stumble upon her lying amongst the rubble. That would be quite the story to tell someday...

She sits quietly, hoping to be as still as possible. She is almost even lulled to sleep by the gentle lapping of the waves on the nearby pond. It hits the rocks in the same, gentle motion. It's quite calming, except for the fact that she was hiding for someone! She had always been the queen at this game when she was little, and Elsa didn't intend on giving up her hidey-title so easily.

Elsa's pristine (ish) figure bounds towards her in an excited trot. Dröm's body halts as she sees Elsa's face. She wonders if Elsa knows her eye is badly smushed. A concaved grape. She knows that is something not easily missed, but why is she so happy? Has she never had both eyes healthy? One of Goldy's ears slips backwards as she listens to Elsa giggle. Unable to help herself, she listens to her words then joins in the laughing. Dröm isn't surprised when Elsa hints at the game Hide-n-Seek. It's a fun way to relax and just have fun. Suddenly, Elsa takes off in the opposite direction. Dröm reacts the only way she knows and closes her eyes.

The sound of hoofbeats galloping away tells Dröm where the white mare has gone to. Should Dröm have told her no flying? It would be rather unfair if Elsa hid in the clouds, a place Dröm has never been. With the silent toss of her head and two caramel eyes flickering open, Dröm takes off in the direction she thinks Elsa has gone. As she searches for Elsa, she thinks about the mare's eye. Is she blind in that eye? Surely she would not be able to see out of it. Dröm had met another blind horse recently, the mysterious stag from the threshold. She had been his rabbit. He had attacked the golden goat that had come with a crass expression and an overly cocky attitude. It had been raining, the coyote (or stag) turned and attacked the goat after we had already begun to leave. Perhaps I should galloped over to his opponent and stand between them. A wall. Did she have the bravery to stop a fight? Then she hadn't. What if she had been with Elsa and whoever had done that to her eye? Would she have stopped the fight?

There are many small ponds and a few large ponds Dröm has passed already. Her forelock dances on her white blaze as she prances around. Her smile has faded and been replaced with a look of deep concentration. "I'm going to find you, Elsa!" She shouts in her overly girly voice. She begins searching around, completely ignoring the pile of rubble, doubting Elsa has crouched down and hid herself behind the pile. This is a part of this herd's ground she has not seen yet, but it is just as beautiful as the rest of the land.

A flight into the clouds would have been quite clever, but, don't give Elsa that much credit. She really is not the brightest bulb in the box when it comes to creative ways at winning things. She was more the straightforward, blunt, obvious solution. Like hiding behind a mountain of rocks like a little foal. But nonetheless, it was fun! It was like she was a kid again, carefree, and without fear of death. It was like the little chestnut mare could be her sister, despite the fact that her own sister was grey and a tad taller.

As Elsa hears the hoofbeats approaching, she stops moving. In fact, she stopped breathing for a few moments. If it was up to Elsa, she was going to win and Drom would never find her! Cautiously, she peeks her good eye through the cracks of the rock, only to see the girl passing it by without a peep. Elsa can't help it though, she finds the whole situation quite hilarious! She lets out a small giggle, before attempting to curl up and look like a boulder in the pile. Of course, it was probably a futile attempt. Although, for a horse that was trying to be a rock, Elsa was a damned good looking rock. Her eyes slammed shut, almost as if not seeing her would make her go away. Please be deaf.. please be deaf! was all she could think. Just don't look behind the pile!. I mean, for a girl who could be the queen of of bad luck and destruction, she was still nowhere near as sneaky or quiet. In fact, she was quite the opposite. Her bad luck and destruction was made up of a jackhammer and a bull horn trying to make a baby. Basically, Elsa was loud, and very, very bad at hiding.
