               Illynx;

I must admit, I'm addicted to lust;
shove your kiss straight through my chest.

Love me for everything you hate me for.

The Lady and her son were working on things for the party planned for the end of the season, but much to the young boy’s delight and satisfying to the more creative side of the golden woman, it was a dance that stirred their minds and bodies into action. She had selected a large, flat area on the border of the woods just outside the region where she and her son slept and took their privacy, and was currently instructing Kyst on how to keep time for the pair with a stone clutched in one of her claws and another flat on the earth in front of her. The young griffon took in the lesson with pale blue eyes locked on the golden ones of her bonded, and in short time, the cat creature was tapping a steady, methodical beat.

Smiling and giving a few words of praise, the woman turns away from the living metronome and gives a flashy grin to her boy as she comes to stand alongside him, shoulder to shoulder.

She’d worked out a composition on her own, and had spent the last few days teaching Rikyn the finer aspects of each movement and motion, easing the lessons to come which would actually be used to create a visual delight for the guests and watching herd at the festival. Eagerly, the dark coated boy waits, his skin quivering with his contained enthusiasm to learn a dance and impress his friends and herd mates.

"Keep the time in your mind," she reminds the child, before stepping into the first motion, calling each by name as she dances and watches for her colt to mirror her.

Left hoof, right hoof, low tuck, leap and step; one two, three four, one two, three four.

In time with one another and with more grace than she had given her son credit for, their first rendition of the dance goes well enough considering Rikyn has only her lead and spoken commands; several stumbles and a few slow steps, but she’s overall pleased as they twirl and bob together, making small adjustments where she notices that the size difference between them makes it awkward or less pleasing to the eye.

The unison of their movements ends with a fantastic lunge and buck that ended in a graceful, low rear on behalf of Illynx and a full extension for her son to let their horns meet in a resounding clack and stamping of their feet as they meet the earth and turned their eyes to the fore, Rikyn laughing breathlessly and Illynx quietly smiling as Kyst's tat-tat continues to sing out in the clearing.

[ OOC: Others are welcome to come and learn the dance with them if they’d like. It’s designed for pairs – so you’ll need to find a partner. ;D ]

The sounds of autumn carried them into the winds, crisp leaves flowing, falling, fluttering, twigs crackling, frost crinkling and slinking over wet dew, into the breezes, into the wild, frigid tempests, lost amongst the waves and the earth, polishing horizons with singsong leisure, breaking apart the inhospitable warrens with a torrent of their own honeyed grandeur. While they swam in time to the glories of Orangemoon’s movement, a chilling, prosperous affair, another shuffle of resonance brought and seized their wayward attention, enticed, allured, spellbound them through the forest, diving amongst the trees, following the echoing chambers, beguiled by an alteration in the streamlined air; a staccato, a beat, a crescendo not made by many beasts. Peeking their heads through the massive clearing, the mysterious emblem’s conundrum was solved immediately: to Lena’s embarked surprise, Illynx, her son, and her companion concocted and composed both song and dance. Inching out of the brambles and thorns, hoping to not intrude on their privacy but merely become an entranced audience, the two became mellifluous witnesses to a beautiful scene. As mother and child waltzed to the cadence and pulse of motion, the Time Mender watched the steps, inclined her head left and right, sought to perform them in smaller movements in their stretch of wood and copse, forever hoping, embarking, scaling new essences and intrigues to their minuets. A leap, a twirl, a spiral, grace, elegance, and an aura of delicacy she’d never seen Illynx exude before (because an asp was powerful, not webbed and fibered into intricate, dainty moments), pervaded amongst the scene, and the desire to execute the gestures burned into her limbs, frenetic, untamed, unbidden. Instead, as their finale burst and ended, she extended her warm greetings through wholesome rhapsody, combining with Imogen’s enlightened twitters into a rapturous decree. “What a wonderful dance! Well done!” She smiled, broad and cherubic, towards the young Rikyn and the tiny Kyst, hoping to proclaim their accomplishments amongst the skyline and autumn atmosphere, flanked and cherished in the impending festivities. “You must have practiced many times to have done so well.”
