Laedere
But if you close your eyes, does it almost feel like nothing changed at all?
The border was freedom. The thing that was meant to serve as a restriction was now the sign of life that Laedere had missed for so long. The joy of feeling the wind in her hair, under her wings, carrying her like a dear friend. And it was back, with this key at the border of the throat. She spent a few good hours that morning hopping back and forth across it. Taking the time to ease into the way the fire erupted, curved around her wings, and then wisped away as soon as she landed. Still, the freedom of flight was easing her mind - so as both she and Ardere set off toward the ancient rotunda to try and gather more stories, more information. Simply, to understand this world that she lived in even better. She moved forward with a purpose, the key bouncing lightly against her breast and Ardere forever doing circles around in the air. Alas, they both pulled up to the rotunda and began to inspect it. Each one took a side, and once it was done they swapped. Then, carefully, they made their way inside. Laedere inspecting each of the steps that she took - the way it effected the rotunda she was now inspecting. Then, when finally content with how it all worked, she allowed her limbs to fold and lower her bodice to the ground. Aye, a little bit of rest while listening to the music of the earth and feeling the warmth of the sun. It was perfect, radiant, and she was most definitely just what she needed for the afternoon. @[Linds] I sincerely hope this is good enough ;-; |
