She had stolen away as soon as she could manage after she learned about the bear fight. Al that she had learned, all that she had been told, all that they had been warned of... there was much to discuss with the whatchers regarding it.

The Sun showed us four horses from different parts going together. Four... Ampere thought on the image of flames that Maren had received as Frostfall came. At the time she had thought the four was the herds coming together for something - something violent - but now she was beginning to think it had depicted the four gods. The Time God had supposedly been present at the fight, a fight against another god. That notion in and of itself was not inconceivable to Ampere, who's travels prior to Helovia had revealed various faiths and their gods in other lands. Still, had the bear really been a god? He was killed, by only a handful of mortals no less, and demi gods she reminded herself, recognizing some as she made it to the tail end of the battlefield's end. And the Time God, who she hadn't seen, but had been said to of been there. Maybe his power was what ultimately slew the other god. Either way, knowledge that gods could die was intriguing.

Shaking such thoughts from her mind Ampere landed among the beach where the band had been formed. Aside from a home of serenity for the Mother of Companions, she found it an ideal meeting spot for the group. They were all familiar with it, and it's poor grazing and drinking ground meant there weren't often too many other horses around. She wanted to talk to them about the Blood Falls and the bear, because she didn't think that would be the last. If the Sun god warned them of four, then there was likely to be at least three more.

"The watching shift goes ever on." she intoned to Tuor, the metal blade pulled from her sheath with her electrical abilities. She peered into its reflective side as images began to dance, and there she hoped to see the faces of her whatchmen.

DARKEST EVE - BRIGHTEST DAWN
THE WHATCHING SHIFT - GOES EVER ON

THROUGH ICE AND FIRE - WIND AND RAIN
WE STAND VIGIL - BREAK THE CHAIN

IF WOUND DOES BLEED - IF HEART DOES SOUR
THE WHATCHING SHIFT - ENDURES EACH HOUR

HEAR US NOT - SEE US FEW
WE STAND VIGIL - 'TIL JUSTICE DUE
