See this: In the dark, dimly lit by the pulsating heat from the volcanic streams, comes an old stallion. No - a unicorn, although the horn on his head is gnarled and twisted. He is old - not so old as the ancient Gods who have been said to dwell in this place, but old enough. The light that is cast merely falls off of him, as if his old body isn't worth hanging onto. He steps lightly enough over the volcanic terrain, drawn by the pull of the ancient presence that he feels.

Once this old stallion reaches the location of the shrines, he feels the pulsating rhythm that had drawn him here, begin to wane. The unicorn, born from the seed of a lustful demon, extended one leg while at the same time curling the other - awkwardly hopping to do so as his weight shifted, and lowering his muzzle into a deep bow. Blood vessels dimpled his thick next as he curled his muzzler still deeper, marking the Earth below him and physically touching the God whom he sought.

Still in a full bow, Myrddin called for the God that he sought - the god of the Earth. His voice was rich, yet course sounding, and hung in the air as there was no breeze this night, only the chill of the coming Frostfall. "Dues terrestris voco"

Then, Myrddin waited.

[Myrmyr is looking for an owl-companion. Just a regular one. He is going to go blind soon, poor old geezer. And the owl will serve as his eyesight]

Wind howls through the veins before all falls still and silent. The gods have not come to answer your call. Try again later.
