The world was far from quiet, even though a hush had fallen over the Green Labyrinth. On the surface, a breeze gently blew. It was inconsequential - it did not set the stage for any nefarious turn of events, it hardly even moved the few leaves that had fallen off of the trees. It was merely the only semblance of movement that could be discerned. Above ground, everything breathed and slept and carried on.

Above ground, everything was fine.

For now.

An army of worms, insects, and tangled tree roots lent their strength to this massive undertaking. Although the Helovian Gods had plucked away the best bones of the Riftian Gods that they slaughtered, and even appropriated a few claws and whatnot, the majority of their four corpses were left scattered about the four lands that the Helovian natives thought of as new. But they were not new. They were old. Oh so old, and they still listened to the voices of their old Gods, even if those Gods were now 10ft under. But it was no matter. Torn apart, burned and dissected, the old Gods still had plenty of sway in their lands. Lands which the Helovian Gods had so thoughtfully re-located.

Seabirds carried bones from the Riptide Isles, while beetles and a hoard of ants moved various wolf-parts into the centre of the labyrinth. From the Flats, worms with gaping mouths used their bodies like conveyor belts, shifting the decaying crocodile hide, and maggots and bats carried the long-decomposed flesh and bones of the bear from the Blood Falls. It took time, but it was happening.

And no one even noticed.

Into the heart of the labyrinth, this rough and ready cast of body parts congregated. Individually the old Gods had been defeated, but collectively their minds still hummed as one. Unlike the Helovian Gods, these Gods stood fully united, and would once again fully unite.

"They think they've won." The voice was a bastardization of the four Gods the Helovians killed. Their voices stacked one on top of the other, mushing and melding together like their body parts currently were. Together the four became one - filling the holes in their torn carcasses with their counterpart's bones and flesh. The result was rather horrific - an amalgamation of bones and pieces of skin, fortified through magic and sheer will. Its head wasn't even a proper head, since the Helovian's had taken the four skulls of the old Gods away, and so its head was merely a construction of oddly fitting bones. Nevertheless, the creature could move, could speak, could act.

The creature was pure chaos, and so, the newly created God named itself such.

Kaos.

And just as its body came together, it burst apart in a bizarre explosion of smoke, light, and dark mists.

What's this? Stay tuned!
