Life. It was crazy. She was here, and then gone again. Never able to decide on where in the world she wanted to go. It was like a reverse Waldo book; people weren't looking for her, but she was looking for people, and although abundant, they all acted the same. One in particular though stood out to her, and that was Mirage. Her personality was very calm, but with an undertone of authority. Much like her mothers had been. So that was the reason, that Adele finally decided to creep on over.

So, on this chilly, blustery day, Adele found herself in the worlds edge. Her flaming mane and red and blue body stood out like a sore thumb against the stark background. Vera stood on her back, of course rattling her two cents off into Adele's brain. "You stay, yes?" Vera cocked her head to one side. The voice in her head with so crackly and high pitched. It was like a female version Yoda. Adele just rolled her eyes. "Hopefully..." She responded, taking a stop on her crunchy, frosty ground. Hopefully someone would notice, because she was tired of trying to find people herself. If they wanted her here, they would find her.

It was a curious thing, this habit of life to bring familiar faces back to Mirage's path over and over. A golden dragon flitted in the trees above. She was a companion to the WeyrLeader, and it was a curious habit of dragons to always seem to be aware of where their fellow kin lay. Akaith sensed the presence of Vera, though the manner in which she sensed the little white was something she doubted she would ever be able to explain. Akaith flew with joy today, and upon seeing the little white, she did not feel the need to express her dominance nor prowess, but instead greeted her as a comrade, a fellow dragon partaking in the bond that united them to their equine partners. The little quen sung her song to the pair, a colourful welcome, a warm greeting. Though she had happened across Adele only once before, the oddly hued mare held history in Isilme, and Mirage vaguely remembered the charcoal mare who was Aera, who rose within the lands to great heights, if the stories she had been told were true.

Mirage approached them now, though not in the same fashion she had approached Adele before. The DragonHeart had healed enough from her battle to transform, to embrace the form the Goddess of the Moon had allowed her to find. Wingbeats of a dragon thwumped through the air, though it was not a companion dragon anymore. Akaith trilled another greeting, recognising the great, golden bodice of her bonded. Remnants of a draconic tattoo stretched down her elongated nape, the only lingering reminder of her equine colour of the darkest obsidian. The dragon gave a song of her own, it was a curious sound, far more musical and dynamic than a simple equine call. A smile curved the scaled lips of the beast as it landed, softening the otherwise hard, harsh gaze that penetrated the surroundings. She was several lengths away from where the young equine stood, very much aware that most who came across her in this form did not always react with understanding.

"Adele," the voice was the same as with the mare, exotic, accented, changed only slightly because of the sheer size of the throat it came from. Her wings extended, the translucent, golden membrane that stretched between the bony structures providing a barrier against the wind that attempted to chill all the beings to the bone. "It is a pleasure to find you upon the borders of the World's Edge. I hope you are well?"
