"EVERYTHING YOU WANT IS A DREAM AWAY."

Najya still wasn’t entirely comfortable with the idea of taking A’mal across the fiery bridge back to the Throat, so she had set her mind to accomplish all her tasks on the mainland of Helovia before returning back home.  The little dragon had no qualms about her bonded’s intentions, especially now she had been provided with a few meals and had begun to discover how to use her teeth and claws on her own.  Her wings, however, those were still an enigma to the little white dragon. So the creature contented herself to riding on the mare’s back, clinging to the leather sheath that held sword.  Thankfully, the leather was decorated by the most enchanting golden pieces that had fully captured A’mal’s interest as the pair made their way towards the Secret Grove.

The little mare had passed the grove before, but never truly investigated the area.  She was pleased to find that the air here was not as cold as out in the open.  Frostfall made her long to be home.  Even after having called Helovia home for some time now, she still found it difficult to deal with bitter winters.  She’d never seen trees like the willows before, with strange branches and leaves that dangled and drooped and brushed the ground.  Distracted by her bonded’s appraisal of this strange place, A’mal released the tassel she’d been playing with and looked around – letting out a chirping nose when she saw the water ahead.  It seemed the young dragon’s appetite had yet to be quelled.

The mare kneeled, allowing the dragon the opportunity to slide down her shoulder, more gracefully than one would think possible for a dragon who hadn’t figured out her wings, before gleefully making her way over to the water’s edge. Najya followed, watching the creature with a soft smile, as she tried to fish a meal out of the shallows.  Ensuring that A’mal was properly seen to, Najya craned her neck around – taking a moment to properly appraise her surroundings. She hadn’t seen any familiar faces so far, nor had she seen anything out of the ordinary but she thought it best to keep an eye out should circumstances change.
