There was no reason for Abaddon to resent his superiors when it came to his duties as Warrior, but they sure did take the piss. His foul mood had become worse as he felt compelled to carry out his task in the freezing cold. Frostfall was setting his mood to rage-mode, and the huge bodice simply could not cope with the aggression that it contained. Abaddon stamped his massive daggers into the weather-hardened ground, sometimes feeling it crush softer patches where the mud had most likely been churned up by another. But his thuds sounded like thunder as he had headed to the west of Helovia, straight for the Ancient Rotunda. It was a place he had learned little of, and that mystery being the only thing that kept him on course. He soon found his way through the mass of trees that made up the old forest, an abundance of firs and ancient trees that echoed with the sound of his own breathing. With his cranium held low on his neck, he scoured the edges of the terraria, noticing the pool on the right of him that bounced of the colours of this area. He soon came up to the stone structure that resembled a temple or turret, elegant in his design but old in its upkeep.

He was alone, no one in sight. Abaddon's patience was wearing thin as he wondered what the hell a creature like him was doing in a wooded area, a pretty and cold place that had little impact on him. He was certainly not mesmirised by a place that had appeared a million times in peoples' dreams. Instead, he stood there and glanced this way and that, feeling his way through the copse trying to find something worthy to report back. If there had been creatures, he could have found out so much more. In order to impress the likes of Ampere, he decided to hold his ground and wait.

Huffing and puffing, the silence was almost too much to bear. Frostfall was well in swing now, and there was little Abaddon could do to keep himself from feeling enraged by that fact...

Dreams paint the sky in the brightest colours. They are the dreams of crimson, gold, ivory and violets. Mixing together and creating the most beautiful colour show known to none but the Dreamwalker.

Somewhere around here Zenobia was supposedly lurking. Despite being (supposedly) related to the older girl, Aelin wasn't partially fond of the other. The girl had come across as overbearing and quickly had become a little too much for the sandy princess. Aelin's lanky body weaved through the trees, her steps careful. She'd flown here with only a few breaks, she was actually quite proud of her effort. Ruffling her wings she winced as a cramp in her left wing caused a sharp pain to shoot through her wing joint. Frowning she rested the wing gently against her side, perhaps she'd pushed herself a little too much. Deciding that continuing to move on foot was the best idea she picked up the pace and weaved through the trees. It was a beautiful part of Helovia, although what her purpose was here seemed to be up for debated. Zenobia had told her it was time to 'patrol' and Aelin always wanted to please her father. Surely by doing this she was helping out? The girl wasn't sure what she was supposed to be looking for. She was on patrol for...what? Looking for something out of place? She didn't know this land well enough to know if something was out of place. Although if gods were going on a rampage or blue lightening was shooting out of a raven's beak she'd surely notice that.

It was then she noticed a dark figure, someone who seemed agitated and confused? Her fist instinct was to avoid him, but she was curious. Perhaps one day this curiosity would result in some dire consequences, she hoped today was not that day. "Hello?" This one seemed familiar, she'd seen this brute in the Throat before. Wasn't he the one who'd been sticking his head in a tree? With a roll of her eyes she moved closer and studied his dark coat, menacing body and red bloody eyes. A shiver worked it's way down her spine, something about this male unnerved her.

For only she can see the beauty of true desires.

The heated rage within him fired up a he could hear the crumpling of leaves in the distance. It was the call of someone coming towards him but he knew not who, and that's what made him irrationally furious. The charcoal beast was in all his terrifying glory but this was no help to another creature who bumped into him. He heard the words of a little creature, and his cranium turned to face the sound as it called at him. It was a little filly that had made the noises, a golden speckled little creature that spoke to him with some sort of familiarity, and one that he reciprocated.

Abaddon knew that this little thing was no threat, and so he turned his cranium back to face the same direction as the rest of his muscular bodice and continued to slow walk once more with his neck arched downwards and his lobes pinned back. He huffed once more before replying to the curious little trouble maker,
"Hello to you too little one," He halted his feathered daggers once to glance at the speckled fae before speaking once more, "I feel I have seen you before, I am Abaddon from the Throat, but I'm not in the mood for playing games like hide and seek," his blazing pools rolled into their sockets with a menacing grin coming after it, in the hope that it would diminish any hope of the little filly's if that's what she wanted. He then spoke once more, aiming to make his intentions clear, "I've been ordered to patrol this part of Helovia, not that it needed doing..." He then stalked off once more, feeling the trees whipping around him in the painfully serene area, just waiting for the creature to come bouncing back. But that was he wanted. He too was intrigued, especially by her supposed indifference to him upon first meeting.
