if you were to leave, fulfill someone else's dreams, I think I might be totally lost

A wisp of purple mane, an identical purple spot, the tender touch of a few familiar, ghostly pallid muzzles, and they were gone. Once again, the girl of paradise was alone, lost without her family. They didn't belong in Helovia, she knew that of course, but she had found them, they had found each other, and oh, how badly she had wanted Maui to meet her family.

But she didn't even know where her daughter was, and her family had to go, to keep running from what Eden saw as fictitious predators. The girl of paradise couldn't go with them, either, for she had never even gotten to kiss her ivy crowned daughter goodbye. She wouldn't Maui go too much longer without her, even if the golden dipped girl was far closer to her father than she would ever be to Eden. And so, she was left in an unfamiliar land without any of the comforts she once knew. She fell to her knees, crumbled into a ball of light gray mane and tears.

It was time to go home, back to the Basin, hopefully back to Maui, if the babe was still there at all (she wished she could've brought the little one with her when she found August). But which way were the Auroras and how could she ever find her way back? She was tragically awful at directions. That was how she had gotten lost in the first place, wasn't it?

So Eden stayed in her little ball, under a pale sliver of fading sunshine, weeping into the blood colored ground until she could find the strength to rise and get lost again.

eden is back for the time being wow cool yay
