"Throat very hot and waters falling too not friendly!" The soothsayer told the birds lazily perched on her antlers; she wasn't used to them not replying. In the country she had been raised, all animals spoke the common tongue - Even some of the smarter kinds of mice. The splashed lady was complaining to the volery about how she was yet to find her place in Helovia. She had journey here from so far away under the illusion that it would be the perfect burial site for her sister remains until they were in fact stolen during her trek through the threshold; and not only that, but Tuppence also had been told it would make a wonderful home for her once she had completed her task. Home? Home was where your friends and family were waiting. The moody mare had been greeted at the throat with naught but strange looks, and even rudeness at the falls. Both of these places were not homes.

And so the gypsy travelled again, singing with her unique, scratchy voice (haunting as her singing was, it was somewhat wonderful) from dawn until dusk. The spooky songs filled the forest until the sun had bid its farewells and mother moon had begun her watch, Tuppence finally finding a place to rest by a lake. Songs still fell from the womans mouth as she waded into the pristine water to wash the days sweat and dirt away - her company of three birds had left for the shelter of trees long ago, and so finally she felt she had the right amount of privacy to shed her jewelry and soak. Another tradition where she was from - being uncovered by jewels was a site for your mated partner only.

Scooping back the skull and coin-laiden leather strings onto her antlers the sooty maiden turned her attention to finding an adequate berry bush or some source of food. She thanked the moon in song now as she walked for providing a wonderful amount of light this night - perhaps it was a full moon? Tuppence could not tell, either it was a wonderful whole and full moon tonight or it was just a day away. How lonely she felt though - she longed for her family, for any company who would talk back without rudeness.

It was the song that first pulled him in. The melody was distant and strange, the voice that wove it was dark and tantalizing. Ashamin did not feel seduced in the proper sense, maybe, but his curiousity could not be contained. He had spent a lot of time in this meadow as of late, seeking out the best spots for his loyal company to graze and gather, and never before had he heard this song in his wanderings.

A little wandering further, and he found its source. She dressed herself in a garb that suited the lilt of her tongue, in trinkets that, like his, reminded him of something ancient, dead, and filled with a magic of its own. But perhaps it was just the mare beneath the jewels that gave off this air, and perhaps she granted the jewels this property. At a certain point from where he stood in the distance she blurred together, becoming a distant patch of spotted stars, jewels, or maybe just a disturbance in his usual sight. Ashamin knew that he could see her clearly, and even if his companions hadn't honed his nocturnal ways they could have lent the Clovenheart a good description, but somehow she still seemed obscured.

It was not that his companions urged Ashamin to stay back, or to avoid the sight. Lochan was too burdened by the same curiousity, and Rakt was too eager for the possibility of any sort of fight. But both Cerndyr approached with far more caution than their bonded, and so when Ashamin moved forward recklessly to greet the moonsinger, they almost called out for him to stop.

Almost, and yet...

The Clovenheart moved forth unhindered, cutting through the tall dry grasses with a confident stride. The sort of dizzy apparition that was this mare faded into something more concrete with every step, and so too did his heart race at the anticipation of hearing the singer speak, if she even could.

"Your song is lovely," Ashamin called, though he knew even as he spoke that lovely was not the right word. Haunting, maybe. Dangerous, even, but not lovely. The Clovenheart tilted his head as he watched he seek out food, and as he did so the necklace he wore clattered as its many charms struck each other. Behind him, his two companions froze as if in headlights. "I am Ashamin the Clovenheart, of the Unbound. I know of a better place to graze, if you would like. I spend much of my time in this meadow."

RAEDEN
but what is love without lust

Her body moved with an un-flawed perfect grave through the meadow. Cream tresses kissed the ground softly that she walked on. The rose gold mare was like a golden Goddess. Feminine curves glowed in the silver light of the now rising moon. Teal flecked eyes gazed to the bright silver orb above her crowned skull. Raeden never felt uncomfortable at night, she knew her lady moon would protect her. Silver flecked orbs found their way back to earth and her gaze fell upon her companion.Tin was watching the land around them. Green eyes steadily moved from tree to tree, then from bush to bush. A smirk grew across the mares maw as she watched the buck, what trouble would they get into tonight?

Their steps grew quiet as the word of a song was heard in the distance. Golden ears perked and listened for the direction that it came from. Eyes narrowed as she searched for the maker of this sound. Its eerie tones felt heavy in her chest, and Tin's eyes found their way to his companion. You go find THAT sound? He questioned the mares motives as she moved forward. Ears guided her to what looked like a haunted figure in the distance. Soft dry grass reached up kissing the sleuth's stomach with a soft touch. Green and teal orbs looked upon the creature in front of them. It felt off, but Raeden did not let that stop her. Then another scent was picked up...

A Stallion, and two companions? Tilting her head she watched a figure wonder towards the haunting shadow. He looked to be a paint by the way the moon bounced from his pelt. Cream hooves took a step closer to the pair. The sleuth was reluctant to go any further, but her doubt was washed away when she heard the conversation. Tin quietly came to a halt next to her as he painted a picture of the two equines in the distance. Her sleek skull nodded to the buck as she encouraged him to step forward with her. The clinging of items was heard, but it was not from the sleuth.

The cloak she wore hung over her left shoulder. Striped legs moved towards the pair, and the two glass bracelets reflected the moons light. Nestled between the glass ornate creations was a golden bracelet that looked like two twigs. Raeden usually did not travel with her items, but tonight she had no choice. The buck usually did not accompany her on night trips, but tonight was different. As she moved closer and closer, the wing armor that was tied around her neck, made a silent wind chime sound. It whispered in the night like a sweet lullaby. Then she stood only feet away from the other two. The stallion was the first to say something, Ashamin from the Unbound. Teal eyes ripped from the haunting mare in front of her and looked to the clovenheart. A soft smile fell upon her maw before she spoke "Hello I am Raeden. I noticed your song, it sounded like it was meant for the moon. Maybe if you're luck the Moon Goddess will hear you. " Kind words flowed from her mouth like warm honey. Eyes shifted towards Ashamin, maybe she can learn about the Unbound from him...

"talk talk talk"

OOC::: I hope you don't mind! Raeden is just trying to learn about the Unbound.
