 Have you ever noticed how every hurricane gets its name from a girl like this?
You're gonna wish you had a storm warning; you're gonna wish you had a sign.

 It was after the meeting, and long after the challenge with Toulouse. Raeden still did not accept the fact. Her pale golden body moved through Edge on the mist filled morning. Cream hooves sunk in the soft ground of the thawing Frostfall. The cold treated the mare well, and her beautiful curves started to thin into a smooth summer coat. Dapples rippled and spotted her beautiful pale pelt, and cloud-like marking grew in brighter colors across her back. Long tresses kissed the ground below her feet. Soft flowing strands from her mane and tail intertwined into the flow of her walk. Teal orbs looked to Tin. Today was the day she needed to talk to Iona about everything. There was a lot that needed to be talked about and covered with her lead.

Nodding her head she sent Tin off to find Iona to lead her to the correct spot. The pale scout stood that the edge of the cliffs that Toulouse tried to throw her off. Teal orbs looked to the rocks and crashing waves below. She could have been killed, maimed, and left for dead. Turning her skull she looked to the tree that saved her life. The rotten bark was torn away from the impact of her ribs. Phantom pains returned thinking about that day. Lyanna stood and healed her wounds and helped her recover. Raeden found a friend in this mare, and she would have to find her very soon to have a small chat. Iona was there burning with fury, Mauja also stood audience to the whole drama filled movie. Emotions mixed and twisted with devilish thoughts towards the snake man. She would get her revenge, it might not be today or tomorrow, but it will happen. raeden never rolled over and submitted to ANYONE that threatened her life.

Turning her attention back to the forest line she awaited Tin's return. Hopefully, he would not take long, the companion was quick when it came to finding people. Her mind flung back on track of the many topics they needed to touch on. One was the appearance of Kaos. They needed to discuss options and ideas to keep the herd safer. She would also go out on patrols soon, hopefully, there would be a partner to join her quest. Words whipped and flipped through her skull. Hopefully, they would have enough time to talk about all the issues for the herd.  Stoic the pale mare stood to wait for the arrival of Iona and Tin.

OOC:: Feel free to have Tin find Iona if you like, he can lead her straight to Raeden! Maybe we can tag Aly later in the thread to talk about somethings if you want :)

iona
Iona was not the anxious type.  Not in the traditional sense, at least.  She was not one to sit and worry over things.  She was not one to wallow in fear.  However, with everything that had happened, it did nothing to quell the paranoia that bubbled up within the painted mare.  So many things were on her mind.  Changes in the herd. Changes outside the herd.  She’d already been dealing with enough when Kaos had made his dramatic appearance that now juggling everything was, well, a lot to put it lightly. Iona still hadn’t talked to her sister, partially because she knew that her twin would take on some of her own struggle as her own.  She’d rather deal with all of the bullshit on her own than trouble Alysanne, but she knew that both her sister and Tembovu deserved to hear her concerns.  But she wanted to find Raeden first.  She needed to make sure that the woman was okay, all things considered.  So much had happened.

Too much.

Iona found herself wandering near the borders today, her mind mulling over all she had to do and not settling on what to do first. Instead, she paced the more vulnerable parts of the borders, ensuring that no one - equine or creature - would make its way across the border unnoticed.  However her mind was made up for her when Tin emerged from the trees and gestured for her to follow.  Iona did immediately, twisting through the maze of trees without question or hesitation. Each step took her closer to the cliffs, and she wasn’t surprised to find the former Specter standing near the tree that had kept her from tumbling over the cliff’s edge.

“You’re okay? And your son?” Iona asked, jumping right to the point.  She’d never wasted time with small talk with Raeden, and she’d been worried about the mare who she’d come to trust. She wished that she could make it all go away, she could simply just erase the nonsense that had happened over the last season and have everything go back to normal.  But, unfortunately, Iona was a realist.  She knew that she couldn’t make it go away and disappear.  But she was weighing her options of what she could do, and she was careful not to overstep.

"The question isn't who's going to let me;
it's who's going to stop me."
