In her mind she fantasize about gettin with me

His face contorted in disgust and anger as chunks of bird flesh splatter his hide. Feathered rained down and stuck to the flesh covering his light colored coat. He snorted his aggravation azure and scarlet eyes flashed his disapproval. His lip curled as he turned away to try and find something for the greedy beast. Apparently his parents never taught him to be happy with what he has, or to do stuff on his own.

His first thought was to be a royal ass and bring him a rock to sleep on. 'Maybe he'll flop down and knock some sense into himself.' His eyes rolled as he stared around completely lost on what to make. Shrugging he moved towards a small group of ever greens. He reared up and pulled down several branches. He carefully meshed them altogether making a pallet type thing. Once that was done he turned to the North side of the trunks and used his hooves to pull off as much moss as he could.

With a large amount ripped off he picked it all up and pressed it into the evergreen branches to give it some softness. 'At least the evergreen might hide his horrible breath.' He chuckled at the thought before grabbing hold of his makeshift pillow. He pulled it back to the creature and set it in front of him. "I made it out of Evergreen, so it will smell nice, and a lot of moss to give it some spring and softness."

He watches everyone bring back food for the Yeti. He wasn't sure why some of them brought things they would eat when he clearly had sharp teeth and blood all over him, but he kept his mouth shut. Silver eyes turned back to watch the Yeti as he picked up the loon and devoured it. Clearly he didn't know how to chew properly, because he began coughing and sputtering. It would have been funny if pieces of bird hadn't come flying at him. He threw his wings in front of him like a shield and let the debris pound his feathers.

He didn't move his wings until the coughing stopped. A soft sigh eased from his lips as he carefully folded his wings back to his sides. He listened to their next instructions before wondering towards Isabella. Once he was away from everyone the stallion shock his feather's out, clearing them of the flesh. He took to the skies as he neared the trees; Isabella stood under them waiting quietly.

He found a nest, by the look of the feathers it had been a Hawk's at one time. He carefully fluttered closer and snatched it with his teeth. Smiling around his prize he flew away from the tree then down to his waiting wolf. Being birdsong the wolf was shedding out her soft winter coat. 'Rub against the trees that'll pull off the really lose stuff.' He smiled as she did just that groaning in pleasure as some of the itchiness subsided.

Great tufts of soft hair rolled from her, and she gathered it up while Ilios set to work gathering moss to lay on top of her hair. He knew from experience how much wolf hair could make you sneeze. He walked back to her and the nest his mouth full of moss. He nodded at the amount of fur she had gathered and placed in the large nest. He spread the moss over the silver hair before nuzzling his wolf gently, 'Thank you.' Her tail wagged as he picked up the nest and headed back. He set the nest down in front of the Yeti and smiled, "I used a Hawk's nest, wolf fur, and moss on top so the fur wont tickle your nose."

"Look at us, studying the fundamentals,
Back when we were young and now we’re up here on another level."

A pillow? Where was she going to get something comfortable for him to lay on? The pale dove stared at him, thinking hard. Well, if she returned to the rabbit carcass she could skin it completely and then stuff it with feathers, leaves or anything else remotely soft that she found. Setting off she returned to the rabbit, it was pretty small and unlikely to be able to hold his entire head, with a huff she turned and marched away from the dead rabbit looking for something else that would pass as a pillow. Huffing she found a pile of moss, with a smirk she laughed as and idea came to her. Finding the bushes from which she'd found the berries on, Ráeru collected piles of branches and leaves.

Once she had a fairly large bundle she began to weave the branches together. It was slow work and she was careful to shape it in a square. Once it was weaved she stuffed it with some of the moss from the rock, before also laying the moss over the top of the pillow shape. This would hopefully ensure that no sharp points would stab the yeti while he slept. With a nod at her final work she dragged it back over to the yeti, placing it at her hooves and then proudly looking up at the yeti waiting for his decision.

[Bleh sorry this is so short. Was in a rush to get to work]

RAISE WHAT’S LEFT OF THE FLAG FOR ME

There is nothing soft about Wessex; not from the cold muscle of her body, to the sharp horns on her head. She has no mothering instinct. So this whole… ‘give me a soft pillow’ demand actually does make the soldierly woman laugh out loud. Oh poor, poor Yeti. Who has to live up here in the cold without nary a pillow to rest his sharp-toothed head upon. And to ask for it after spraying the grass-eaters with partially masticated food, oh he must have something everyone wants.

And if everyone wants it, Wessex assumes she’ll want it too. So let them play the puppets to the overly large cotton ball and be done with it.

Done chuckling, Wessex turns and tries to get some inspiration from the surrounding environment. Rocks - nah, the complete opposite of soft, and obnoxious as this fucker is, she isn’t about to test the effectiveness of her horns against those lovely, rancid chompers. A ‘barking’ sound draws her attention to somewhere down the mountain, and she recognizes it as a groundhog’s call - almost as if it were saying ’Here I am, please come and get sleepy little me!’ Which, of course, Wessex would happily oblige to. She manages to get close to the post-hibernation rodent, who does seem to be either unobservant, or in the process of waking up. Hooves dash its skull to bits, and then the tip of her nose horn rip its abdomen open in order to half shake, half paw its organs and ribs out.

In an ideal world, she’d totally rid the carcass of all flesh and bones, but there seemed to a sort of time limit on these tasks, so she just tore off the crushed head (that was more difficult than expected) and then stuffed the fresh kill with sweet, green mountain grass. It would be soft… for awhile. Long enough for the Yeti to fall asleep, and then, well… by then they’d all be long gone.

Wessex carries the bloodied mess back to the group and deposits it amongst the finely woven creations, noting lots of moss and fur and feathers. They’d clearly taken their time to impress the Yeti. She’s curious to see what will come of all of their efforts. To her, none of them stuck out every single time. But she is a mere tiny pons, not a great Yeti. What does Wessex know?

So many gifts! The yeti waited patiently, or close enough to patiently, and chewed on the snacks that had been provided him while he waited for the small horse creatures to provide him with a pillow. Now that his belly was full, he was beginning to feel tired again and it would be good to have his items back and a pillow to rest his head on. A lot of the horses chose moss which was pretty boring but soft enough.

The one who really grabbed his attention was the sunlight colt, Matheo, bringing hearth moss - that stuff sure was toasty and warm! The yeti grumbled a thanks, sweeping his large arms around the offered supply and patting it down into a bundle where he would be collapsingmomentarily.

Now, to decide between the crowns…

He examined them all carefully again. A hesitant, fat finger lingering on some but settling finally on the elk antlers and rib bone crown that Wessex offered him. A suiting crown for a monster! Having officially decided which crown he preferred, the yeti took off the nest that was sitting upon his head and placed it absentmindedly before Syrena. He was certainly glad to be rid of it! Wessex’s crown suited him much better than that dirty old nest.

“Must sleep now. Be good, pons.” Were the Yeti’s final words, stretched out through an enormous yawn, before he collapsed on the earth once more - his head cradled by hearth moss and the litter of a dozen or so meals scattered about him. This was one happy yeti indeed!
