Hi guys! So -insert excited screaming here- Volterra and Isopia are finally going to give into the lures of nature and have a lovely set of twins! The twins are going to be played by myself and Odd. Unfortunately my guy Vulkán is still designless!

Now, I absolutely SUCK at designs, and I just can't do this boy justice and create a design that fits the amazing plots and family he will have. So I've decided to see what you lovely Helovians can come up with!

In short, Vulkán is going to be a lot different to characters I normally play, in that he's going to inherit his mother's intellectual side rather than his father's warrior side. He might develop into a warrior as he gets older but for now my plan for him is that he'll be extremely intelligent, analytical and balanced, but at the cost of having approximately 0 social skills. He doesn't understand humour, especially sarcasm (so if somebody told him to go and jump off a cliff because they were annoyed at him, he'd be like 'BUT I HAVE WINGS D:'), is poop at nonverbal communication, and inadvertently lacks empathy due to his sheer social ineptness. This will be super interesting and challenging for me to play as I generally just go for the warriors :D He also has his father's temper, although it takes a lot to trigger it.

He's going to be a tribrid, and will have magic to make the ground explode with lava (his name means 'volcano' in Hungarian after all :D).

The details

- He'll be a tribrid, so wings and horn/s please :D
- Lots of foot feathering!
- Must have some sort of 'skull' marking as it's very dominant in Vol's genes and Iso also has a similar marking. Doesn't necessarily have to be in a distinct skull shape, though, nor does it need to be on the top of the face - could be a lower-mandible marking!

Design likes

- Grullos, duns, browns, blacks
- Horns similar to Isopia's
- I'd love some sort of volcano-related marking on his back/side, maybe like veins of lava or ripped skin in a localised area to display lava underneath (I have magic foal stats to get passive magic for this if necessary and also a large marking, so go wild!) I'm picturing something like this although not on the face
- I love designs with different shades of the same colour, so like a wing coming out from a darker patch of grullo for example that makes it a different colour from the wing on the opposite side
- Hybrid/leonine tail that's hairy the whole way down (like Tyrath's and Matheo's)! :D

Design dislikes

- Overly busy/colourful
- Lots of different shades of different colours - prefer shades of the same colour
- Cloven hooves (nothing against them just don't think they'd fit this design)

- Dark brown/black legs
- Dark brown/black dun markings
- Dark brown/black skull marking with holes were teeth should go(opposite of Iso's teeth markings)
- Larva like markings on chest/shoulders(both sides) that flows up his his wing
- Back of wings are dark grey
- Undersides of wings are lighter(different type of grulla color)
- Eyes are a bright orange

Here's my entry!
I may enter again, this was really fun!

So basically he's a grullo with barring and Vols 2 front socks. He has white teeth markings along his lips and then a mandible marking up both sides of his face.
A bloody shoulder that goes around his girth, sunbleached mane.
In low light the fleshy/juicy (lol) parts of his wings glow as if they are made of magma!

- brown bayish kinda
- cracks of fire/lava spreading from chest onto shoulders
- four black horns, some orange/fiery cracks on them
- reddish stripe that turns into skull marking

- two black horns tipped with bronze
- gold/bronze eyes
- black mane and tail with red streaks (in mane near the stripes)
- faint dark read tips to wings
- top sides of wings could be completely black or have some bright fiery coloured feathers to match the stripes

100% FORGET THE PART ABOUT THE LEONINE TAIL. SUCK IT AND HAVE DREADS WEITH ME :p Obviously I can change it.

- dark grullo w striping
- eyes have the same gradient as his horns
- lava cracks run deep across belly & creep up (i drew them dripping bc it looked cool)
- lower jaw marking (on both sides, connects on the tip of the chin and only the tip of the chin)
- has a darker grey marking on his back leg akin to a marking Iso has on her front leg

MK. I ummm and ahhhed about lava markings. Eventually went conservative - his horns have lava markings, and I figure you can tweak wherever you like if you decide this design anyway :)

Thank you so much for all of the entries guys. I'm not even lying when I say I loved every single one, and could easily have chosen any one of them. I'm overwhelmed by how many people entered and choosing was SO HARD MAN ;_;

But I've decided to go with @Sarah's third design! Honestly it was such a hard choice and I yo-yo'd around about fifty times before making my mind up xD
