God damn right, you should be scared of me. Who is in CONTROL?

The girl's radiant body glowed in the sun's light. There was something surreal about the sparkling gold girl. She was unusual in every way, shape, and form. Deep innocent sea colored eyes were spattered and corrupted by crimson blood splatter. Her pure angelic white face is tainted by charcoal gray markings. Three rings mock the holy trinity. It was a warning to all who know what to look for. The girl was deemed unfit for sincerity, purity, honesty, and forgiveness. The Lord would not take such a foul creature back into his possession. There was no hope for anything good to come from this wicked little girl. Castiella had no clue that she was born a damned child, but the girl honestly did not care. For now, she was a sweet innocent child.

Silky strand fell from her mane and tail. Her hair was growing thicker and longer than most foals her age. Cream hooves ventured through the fallen Edge. The world was ending, but there was no panic in her small heart. There was only excitement. What was going to happen to everyone? How fun would it be to watch people die!? Little deviant chuckles escaped her maw as she looked to the sky above. Warm rays of the sun glowed against her sparkling pelt. Sparks jumped in a wave-like motion of joy across her body. The magic was weird, but the divine girl never questioned her abilities. She knew she was much different than others. She knew she was going to be special.

The sun was rising on a dull winter day to find the young Galahad out from his nest again. This time he had permission…the small family had had a chat about his adventure a week or so ago. Of course they had not showed him what ‘in trouble’ was at first, as he still clung tightly to his fears, but after it had subsided he found out what trouble was. He hadn’t exactly liked it either, but he also had not burned. Though he still greatly feared the burning…distance was making it easier. He still heard Mama and Da whisper about it though. They thought he slept but the young child still rarely did. Da still thought they might come back…something about magic. He also heard them talk about Kaos…but the youth never grasped much beyond the name.

He hadn’t been excited about getting ‘permission’ though. He hadn’t even asked for it, but Da thought it would be good. Galahad may be knew to the world, but he didn’t know what good it could have to go off on his own. Not that he was alone of course. Somewhere not far was Haldir, ever trailing him, but commanded to keep his distance…again ‘good for him’. The young colt may snort at the ridiculousness of it, but Thranduil hadn’t come to these decisions easily. He hoped though that perhaps the rising strain of curiosity in the colt might lead him beyond whatever terrors he feared still gripped him. Besides since Haldir’s slip up the stag was a much more determined to get this babysitting thing right.

Even with all of that Galahad still might not have been so bold to actually venture out, but he had his own light. On the nubs of each horn, still barely clinging on, rose two white bones etched with gold sun runes and, held by sliding on. All giving him the appearance of much larger horns, and when his grew in they would act as a second tip. They were even sharp, like Da’s, and at each tip was a small ever burning flame. This flame was different than the others though, this one did not burn. The idea of non-burning fire, which only brought a small warmth to the touch brought more comfort to the little one’s heart than a thousand soft words.

So that’s how he found himself here, bold enough to walk along, but not quite brave and fearless in his step, nor with any real purpose other than to pass the time till he could go back and stop being this silly ‘independent’. That’s why he came to a stop when he saw her. Another creature his size, walking just as he. One hark tilts back in a half thought to Haldir who shouldn’t be far behind. He wants to turn, to leave. Could you do that? Cloven hooves shift and he feels his heart inside his chest beat a little faster. The pale gold colt, still thin and short haired looks over the older one shrinking back from her confident glide. His mind hums, prodding him forward. Could he still leave or would that be really wrong now. He tilts his head in the growing thought and feels the click on the bone on his horn….it reminds him, strengthens his nerve. He swallows and a smooth, calm, albeit slow word finally releases. “Hello.” His heart still grows faster in his chest, but for once he was too preoccupied to notice.

God damn right, you should be scared of me. Who is in CONTROL?

Something was lurking around her. Castiella lowered her masked skull. Bright teal eyes searched fro the creature that was stalking in the shadows. Blood flecks brightened and swelled as her heart began to race. Sparks started to dim and lower to a faint sparkle. Black and white ears pinned against her skull went a voice reached out. It was small and meek, but the sudden sound of speech still made the girl jump. Orbs locked onto the weak boy. He seemed younger than herself. His fur was light gold like the streets of heaven. Upon his skull grew horns maybe? The girl was unsure what they were, but that was not the point. Raising her brow, the girl just smiled.

Cream front hooves drug the rear white and black ones forward.
Her glimmering bodice glowed in the sun's rays. She was a creature that always held a surreal appearance. Blood colored feathers hung at her sides and sparkled with the same rose gold color of her pelt. When the angel got closer to the boy, she came to a halt. What should she do to this creature? Pluck the hair from his body strand by strand to make him suffer? Oh, perhaps she should see if her magic can leave burns on others! No, No that would be too kind. Maybe she should break his legs and leave him there. Oh! Here is a perfect idea! Break his legs, pluck his hair our strand by strand, and then see if her magic electrical doves can burn him! Yes, that would be an ideal way to go about this.

Maybe she was being too brutal. So instead of pulling out his hair, breaking his legs, and burning him; a simple word escaped her maw "Hello." The sound of her voice kissed the air. See, that was not very hard. A smile graced the features of her face as she felt proud of herself. For once she was playing Nice.
"I am Castiella, what is your name? " Her eyes wandered around the land "This place is so boring. There is nothing fun to do here..." A sigh floated into the air as her blood spattered gaze landed back on the boy. Being nice could not that hard, right?

His mother was rosen, a soft and gentle hue of warmth, and so when the red dipped child turned to him, he did not find her strange. It was her feathers he found strange, and the sparking energy which leapt from her hide, arching in the air like a dance. He wanted to investigate, to see. He wondered if they tingled, or felt warm? That streak of curiosity was taking hold of him again, but he held his ground. If he moved at all, he was scared it would be to turn away. Yet her appearance had him raptured, caught like a spider, so as long as he didn’t move at least, he stayed and let her approach. Fire tipped faux horns shake, rattling as she approached closer.

For a moment they stared at each other, and the boy lets both harks turn back, not flat, but in confusion. Had he done that right? Or was she waiting on him again. Fluff of a tail brushes his hips in the rising awkwardness he felt. What was he to do? He had never thought past hello? And she was so much bigger up close…so much..older. Finally, after an eternity she speaks, and the long slow exhale of the lad tries to hide. She even smiles! He feels the tension easing (he was too young to see the calculations rolling in her mind’s eye) and wait, can he smile too? Was that ok? Oh lord they told him about the dangers but forgot to mention how to function!

The colt smiles back though, trying to let some instinct guide him where answers were thin. “I’m Galahad.” He says his name and tries to let it ring with the power and majesty of when his Da had said it that night. A strong name for a strong colt. All will know it soon. Harks come back forward as he feels the accomplishment of his first introductions…but of god…what next?

She answers that, sort of…what does he say to her boredom? What was fun? All the small colt had come close to of that was a few kicks out and games of tag. Besides…here had seemed great. As far as he knew there wasn’t anything boring about it. Of course usually the first few days of life really aren’t boring no matter where you are. The idea that there might be more had never struck him before. He wanted to find out more though, he wanted to leave and hide…but he always wanted to keep talking. “We could find fun together?” His little heart pounded in his chest, dangerously, but without his notice of it or further accelerant it seemed steady. “Here maybe?” He might have suggested something a little more specific…if he knew anything. Did he even know what she was suggesting? Decidedly not.

The boy finally spoke. She felt like they were standing there for a century. Then he smiled, he head tilted slightly. Well making a friend was not too hard. The problem with friends is you have to satisfy their wants and needs. At least that is how she thinks it works. The girl does not know much, all she knows is this place is boring, unamusing, and dying. Blood speckled eyes brightened as he played into her words. We could find fun together? Hmm... the angle wondered if his idea of fun was the same as hers. Cas enjoyed terrorizing small creatures, killing butterflies, and knocking nests out of trees. For a split second, she wanted to suggest they jump off the cliff edge. She has not tried to fly yet, but at least her wings would allow her to glide slightly. That poor boy would probably follow her off the cliff and fall to his death. She chuckled slightly at the thought before nodding her head. "Sure, why not! Let us find something Fun to do."

Bright teal eyes glowed with a deviant charm. Turning around, Castiella started looking around the land. "Hmm what to do.... Have you ever been out od Edge?" Maybe she could take him to the blood falls and leave him there! Oh, how she would enjoy the look of terror and fear. He would be lost there and never be able to find his way home. The poor boy would probably start crying for mommy or daddy. No, not now... She had to play nice. She had to be GOOD. So, a smile formed on her features as she looked at Galahad to see if he would follow.

Cream hooves moved forward. Castiella was always leading Akriel around, so it was natural for her to start walking first. If Akriel were here, this would be so much easier. He was much kinder to others than herself. Bright sea colored eyes looked around until she found two squirrels. "Oh! We should play a game! Let's see who can catch a squirrel first" Her hooves came to a halt as she looked back to Galahad. Her masked face was so innocent and sweet, but her smile was deviant.

She didn’t leave! That was something! Some progress maybe? It certainly was to him given that she was the first person he’d ever met outside of his own family. So just saying hello and his name was quite an accomplishment. The small colt’s head rose slightly higher as she laughed, his smile gaining sincerity and losing the awkward shyness. She wanted to play and find this fun! He completely missed her mischievous spark and the unfinished ideas voiced in her tone. For Galahad, he was going to find out what fun was, and he might actually have a story to share with Mama when he got home about some adventure! Perhaps then his parents wouldn’t whisper and worry so much. (He worried himself too but that was besides the point). The girl steps off, and the colt eagerly followed.

Castiella asks another question and the boy, delighted in this seeming successful venture, gives an simple “No.” He once again could not perceive her darker ideas. He was a child of good intentions and light heart, devious ideas were not natural to him. Perhaps one day he’d learn…one day soon enough. There was another lull in the conversation, but before the colt could think of something, she stops, pointing out the squirrels.

The child tilts his head to the side again, confused. Chase squirrels? That was fun? He’d only seen them climb trees, and eat nuts. But hey, maybe there was more to them when you chased them? “Sure!” Then how was he supposed to catch them? Tackle them? Oh but she said it would be fun…and she seemed to know more. So the colt on his still proportionately long legs starts off, giving chase, heart beating faster, shouting back to her, “Come on!”. Believing every smile and gentle word…little did he know how ashamed his father would be.

She smiles softly as the boy answers her question. Chuckling, she watches the squirrels run and jump about. "You really gotta get out of here. There is so much of the world to see. Maybe we can go on an adventure some time " She chuckles looking at the boy. An adventure would be fun! She could push him in the water and see if he can swim. Oh! Maybe she can convince him to climb a rock, and he will get stuck up there. Fuck... no, she can't do that. Cas had to remind herself to be nice. It was just so hard to do when the boy seemed willing to do anything. Sighing the smile dropped from her face as he went running after a squirrel.

Maybe his father did not expose him to the world as her father did. The poor boy seemed so innocent. This was something that the girl could not understand. Were all children born like that? If so what happened to her? Why did she see the world and all of its evil at such a young age? There were so many questions that she did not know the answers too. Perhaps one day she will get that answer. The shout from the boy caught her attention. Cream hooves picked up into a gallop after him. Her blood colored wings tuck against her sides as hoof beats filled the air. Growing silk tresses floated behind her sparkling bodice. Was she really playing child-like games right now? The thought caused her black ears to pin against her skull. No. This was not a game; she was training.

Roaring Hooves finally caught up to the lanky colt. Teal orbs looked over to him with bright excitement. Lungs forced air in and out from her nostrils, and her heart pumped blood through widening veins. If she could not beat a small colt in this game, Cas might as well be worthless. A squirrel darted to the right and the girl cut off towards its direction. The fuzzy tail tree rat did not have a chance with her. "Your going to have to be faster than that Galahad!" Her sweet voice rings in the air as blood specks grew brighter and larger in her eyes. Her cunning mind watched the small creature weave in and out of the tree. This was so easy it almost made her sick, but she was going to give the boy a chance. A chance to feel good about himself before she rips and tears it away from him.

An adventure? Before he ran off to chase the squirrels the colt paused to look to his new friend. His Da and Ma had told him of the ‘adventures’ they had had….and that had sounded fun. But he go on adventures? He did want to see the world….she promised there was so much in it. Galahad had just learned this small piece, but if there was more, perhaps there were more things to explore and understand. He liked the promise of that…Perhaps he was a bit timid but the colt was ever curious. “I’d like that.” Little did he know there was an adventure boiling down the spine of Helovia toward him, ready or not.

Off they dashed chasing squirrels, the little one charging best he could. He should have thought more carefully about her motives…perhaps tried to understand more the point of this game of chasing squirrels. But there was little space left to as all his brain was focused on not tripping in front of his new friend, and catching a damned squirrel. The little brown rats continually dashed right and left through the trees, and quick changes were not exactly a new foal’s specialty. The girl calls to him, egging him on, and the small one dashes faster, harder. His small heart going faster and faster. Adrenaline rising….It would only take one little push for the playful scene to turn into something very different…

God damn right, you should be scared of me. Who is in CONTROL?

Hooves roared against the ground, and Castiella smiled and watched as the boy tried his best. Her heart was racing probably just as fast as his. Her hoof sought to stomp down on one of the fuzzy tailed rats, but she missed. Huffing the girl rolled her eyes pushing her legs to go faster and faster. Lungs filled with cold air and sweat started to bead against her sparkling bodice. Her eyes followed the squirrels back and forth. The boy next to her was trying and trying. It felt like they had been running forever. The squirrels were fast and cunning. Cas underestimated them. Until she got an idea... Her hooves slammed to a halt. Her rear legs tucked under her stomach. A large log was blocking her path, and the girl almost went chest first into it. Luckily she was able to stop in time, but she wondered what Gahalad would do.

Narrowing her gaze on the squirrels jumping and bouncing about the girl felt anger build in her heart. They were mocking them; they were laughing at the foals. "I think they are mocking us...." Her voice grumbles out from clenched teeth. Blood spattered orbs narrowed on the squirrels. Stupid, dumb, annoying little rats. Hate built up in her heart, and it released in the form of three electric doves. One flew and electrocuted the first squirrel. The second hit its little squirrel friend. They both fell from the tree. Their lifeless body landed with a hard thud against the ground. The third dove when stray... The girl was still not sure how to control her magic. It flew and started heading towards Galahad. Her eyes widened and a Meleviant smile formed on her maw. "Galahad watch your self! " She couldn't feel that bad about it. The girl warned him. One of three things would happen. The dove would miss and dissipate into the air. Galahad would avoid the flying electric animal. The last would be the interesting one, but her mind tucks that thought away. Widened eyes just watched with false horror flashing across her features.

He laughs, a giggle of bubbling energy and spirit, wrapped safe in innocence and youth. Fun. This was fun. His blood was flowing and he was keeping up with the small brown streaks (not catching but close). The babe wasn’t concerned about actually catching them…why would he? But chasing them, with a smiling friend by his side. That was fun. He didn’t think of Haldir, or strange dark mutations his life had taken to this point. He let his lungs breathe deep and he laughed.

Rosen companion disappears and the colt, so narrow focused on squirrel, he missed the forest for the trees. He gasps, slamming his hinds on the ground, hooves skidding, kicking but the second warning was not enough and the colt slams into the trunk. BAM! “Ah!” A dull throb echoed across his shoulder. Blue eyes shut away-pain….no….But his heart was already accelerated. No! The colt bites his lip, struggling with his inner demons as he hears his new…friend?

Mocking? It rises him. And the colt looks back at his friend, the center line in his eyes still trembling with threat. Then he looks to the squirrels above. They hadn’t been mocking…just chasing, just fun? Right? No one was- His mind couldn’t grasp reason though he tried, already it was too much…

Light flashes and darts in his vision as the doves seize their targets. Blue eyes see them catch the squirrels….and them fall- Shouting…ZAPP! The pale colt squeals, jerking, as the electricity surges through his muscles, up his spine…to his heart. “Castiella!” And the last thing he sees is the dead thump of brown bodies hitting the ground before the fire flares in his mind, burning bright all he sees.

She killed them. For no reason, she killed them. His hip sizzled and stung…. They had been laughing, chasing- running, doing nothing and she- God his shoulder hurt….They had done nothing to her. They didn’t deserve it! She had killed the innocent!

The colt’s form folded and his coat glows brighter gold, brighter, till his form shifted, and the lines turning to licks of flame. It grows, flaring out, burning brighter, lashing out- then dying….down to ashes. It was still…not a sound…for a second…. whoosh. From the ashes he rises, soaring up immediately, the golden phoenix.

The flame licked body hoovers, wings beating heavily (still overworking in their little use), sending sparks scattering below. Clumsily the fire bird landed upon the log. It looks for a moment away at the squirrels below, then sharp white judgmental eyes turn on the rosen girl.

Not far off the dark stag Haldir raises his head, his face lined with strain as he listened, before leaping off into the woods at a run with a groan. He would not be winning baby sitter of the year anytime soon, that is, if Thranduil let him live to see the end of the year after this.

Well fuck! That did not go as planned. The poor boy ran right into the fallen tree. Wide teal eyes looked at the girl as she sighed slightly. He shrieked a sound that caused the girl to pin her ears. Then all hell broke loose. The doves killed the squirrels, and she was happy about that. Those poor bastards never had a chance with her magic. The problem with those doves is she could not actually control the third one. The boy screamed, and her name rang through the air. Well, double fuck.... This game got interesting. She wanted to giggle and laugh, but she didn't. The girl had to hold it together and seem like she was sorry. " Galahad!!!! I am so sorry!!!! " The sparks on her back rose and arched with worried waves. She was getting good at this acting thing. "I.. I... I just wanted to scare the squirrels! Are they dead?! Oh nooo!!!" Her eyes began to water. Bright teal orbs dampened as she looked to the burn spot on the boy. "Ohhh Noo! I am so sorry!!! I was just trying to have some fun. I always do this. I mess everything up! I guess that's why I don't have friends" Her sea blue eyes looked down. Cas was pretty impressed with how well this pity party was going. The girl did not think she had this type of emotion and acting skills, but she was learning quickly.

Cream tresses fell in front of her dampened eyes. Facial expressions twisted into sadness and shame. "I....." Her words got cut off as she looked up to the boy. Now, what the fuck was happening. Fire swirled around his hooves and, okay then. The form of a Colt no longer sat in front of her. Ashes fell to the ground and her saddened face twisted into confusion. Why does this always happen to her!? "Nooo.... come back! I did not mean to hurt you!!" Yes, this acting will suffice for now. She needed the colt to come back. Castiella needed a real Friend to play with. A sigh escaped her maw as she was getting ready to turn around to find Akriel. Then something amazing happened. A bird rose from the ashes and soared to the log in front of her. Dampened eyes started to dry, and she blinked. Was this real? Did this just happen?

Nervous sparks lowered on her back, and her teal eyes glowed with blood red. Ears twisted and turned unsure of what to do, or think. "Galahad? Is that you?" She swallows nervously. This emotion was new to her. Cas was not sure what to think or what to do in this situation. Crimson wings clutched her body. What would Akriel do? Why was this so difficult? Her worried eyes looked to the dead bodies on the ground. Shifting her gaze her tail twitched with nerves. "Galahad if you can hear me I really am sorry. I... I just wanted to have fun... Please don't be mad at me!" Was this genuine? Is this what worry, anxiety, and sadness really felt like? There were too many emotions for the young girl to comprehend. What in Gods green earth was going on? She would cry to mother if, she felt like it wouldn't rip all her pride away.

Words comes through to him wrapped in blurs, as if spoken while he remained under water. Her meaning comes through, and he would have believed her acting again…perhaps with more suspicion, but it was too late. Confusion though did not aid her cause. Could you kill something without meaning? Did she still try to call this all in the pursuit of fun? It all falls through in the ashes of his mind, which the phoenix burns.

The gold bird watched, seeing and noting all. The sparks on the mares back draw most of its attention at first. How they cracks and arched, sparking with light. He liked that….Then the mare draws back the bird’s focus. The feathered head tilts, the ones forming a feathery crest atop his head shivering. But the bird is not foreign, nor his other half so distant he can not comprehend who he also is. So the bird trills, its song coming melodiously, but other worldly to answer her, head dipping to confirm.

Yet the fire bird does not yield his stance, or give in to her. There were still dead bodies, needlessly strewn, on the ground. It was a shame their girl’s possible genuine reaction came to this form and not the other. Perhaps some comfort would have come from the other side. Instead the bird hums softly, musingly. Then it shifts on the log, long tail feathers sweeping over, before leaping off, soaring the short distance to one of the fallen bodies. It grasps it gently in one claw, then with wings, it hops to the other nearby, taking it in its beak.

With both in grasp, he takes back to the center, laying both gently before the girl. White eyes gaze up to her, unreadable for a moment. Then his wings circle the small brown bodies. The flames about each tip feather shivers, as if coming away, and becoming hot.

He burns the squirrels- to ashes. Wings flare, ceasing any stray sparks, and lifting himself back to the log. It was then he finally noticed which legs cuffs. The bird glances down to see his horn cuffs now circling his legs, yet bearing the same gold etchings. The fire bird ruffles its feathers, shifting on the log before looking up again. Its large white eyes simply watching….

Haldir dashed through the woods, leaping over fallen tree and brush. His mind racing, how had Galahad gone this far?

Okay triple fuck... What is she suppose to do now? She was alone with this thing, and no one was around. Mother, Father, and Akriel were somewhere else. She should not feel this way. How dare someone take over her emotions and make her feel a different way. Taking a deep breath the girl began to regroup her mind and body. Castiella was no going to let this bird thing have control of the situation. So thinking deep within her mind slowly control started to wash over her mind once again. Sparks began to wave over her body with her nervous heart beat. They crackled and snapped against her pale pelt. Crimson blood spatter started to take over her teal orbs. The only blue that could be seen was in between the cracks of the splatter. Maybe it was because she was nervous. Maybe it was anger and hate building up in her heart. Maybe the filly realized she can control deep emotions. She honestly did not know what to think, or what to feel about this new skill. Castiella did not feel bad for killing the squirrels, but she was going to be damn sure that it seemed that way. Her ears lowered in sorrow and her facial expressions twisted into sadness. The pounding of her heart could be heard in her ears as she watched the bird nod its head to her question. "How did you do that?" Soft low tones swirled around in the air. Her voice seems much more meek than it was before. Do not let it fool you, Cas was working on becoming a very effective manipulator.

Wide eyes watch as the bird burns the bodies of the fuzzy tailed rats. Oh, if she could do that she could get away with any murder. There would be no evidence that the body even existed. How amazing was that!? She want'ed to awh and jump around with joy over that power, but she didn't. The girl had to remember that she needed to be sad, sorry, scared, and worried. So, instead of joy horror flashed across her face. "Where did they go? Oh no... I really messed up!" Now time to think of something that will make her cry. What could that be? Deep within the depths of her mind she thought of something. Something so deviant and evil that thought is not safe to share with any others. The girl started crying. Salt water dripped from her sea colored eyes. It ran down her face staining it with a damp trail."Galahad please be your self again!" Words squeaked out between breaths. "How many times do I have to say sorry?!" Her chest shuddered. Oh, she was really out doing herself!! Castiella really did not think she had this type of talent hiding within. Moving her body she made it seem like she had to look away from the ashes. Long silky tresses of her tail faced the fire bird. What would happen next?

White eyes merely watch the girl. To all her comments and questions the bird says nothing. Could he speak? The creature had never tried, there had never been a need. Besides, it preferred its own songs. So the poor girl does not get an answer. Of course, there wasn’t an answer to give anyway. Neither Galahad nor the fire bird knew how either form too its place…only that his fast paced heart seemed to cause it. Emotions….feelings…

The bird gives no notices to the girl’s grief of the squirrels. Whereas some other more gentle soul might have consoled her, this fire bird did not. She had done it. She had killed them. Nothing beyond that mattered to the phoenix.

He did though yield as he saw something sparkle below her eye. Gold head tilts, and beak clacks to see the tear run down her cheek. Head tilts the other way, trilling out another sigh of melody. He was trying to understand, to comprehend her. Unlike Galahad the fire bird struggled to understand the girl’s emotions and her guilt. Though he and the colt shared the same mind, this would not be the first time the two sides saw the world differently. Her pleas fall on helpless souls. The bird draws back to himself. Couldn’t she see….there was nothing to be done. The fire bird would remain, until something changed, which neither he nor the colt within him could understand. Last time it had been sleep, who knows now.

The girl turns away, and the gold bird tilts its head again. But there was nothing more to be done. It turns again on its branch, the few long tail feathers brushing over again. Wings raise, ready to take off, but stop-

Crashing through the underbrush the dark stag finally appears in front of the fire bird, and behind the girl. The phoenix trills again in greeting, and rests back. Haldir was not equally glad to see the creature. He instead groans audibly. Thranduil would kill him.

Moon eyes look behind the bird, still siting upon the log to see the girl. Large ears fold back and his head rises higher, coming forward to the log. Had she done this? The stag knew the colt’s magic needed a trigger. Was it her? No….she was crying…The stag snorts a greeting, still wary, and comes to the fire bird’s side. The companion reaches to nuzzle the bird, and the phoenix allows it before turning back around to face the girl.

God damn right, you should be scared of me. Who is in CONTROL?

Okay, Castiella could not say fuck enough after what happened next. Sparks on her back winced and shuddered with the waves of fake sadness. They cracked and snapped with low tones and remained very close to her pelt. She had noticed the bird say her tears; it did not know what to think of them. Hell, Cas did not know what to think of them. No matter the fact the situation was not getting any better. God, what would Akriel do? What would Father do? She almost wanted to giggle at that thought. Father would just kill the thing, but no! Cas was trying to make friends. Friends do not kill other friends, right? This whole thing was so confusing, and God damn where is Akriel!? The pair is always together, and he was the one who always got her out of this kinda shit.

Push those feelings aside, think about sadness. Cry more, do not let this act fall. Bright sea colored eyes tried to blink the tears out, but they just clouded her vision again. Turning her white masked skull, she looked behind her again. The Firebird was still there. Why won't Galahad come back? Her ears perked forward listening to a grunt. Another creature showed up. It almost looked like Tin, but he was dark. She watched through blurred vision how the deer touched the bird. It made her curious enough to turn back around. Sparks started to rise with curiosity. "Hello, are you here to help? He won't come back. He..." She trailed off crying again. The girl HAD to make it believable.

God, this was so difficult. Cas was not sure how much longer she could keep this act up. She wanted to scream the squirrels deserved it! She wanted to laugh and carry on about her day, but she wanted a Friend. It is not her fault Galahad is so sensitive.... God this nice game was soooo difficult to keep on playing. Cold air rushed into her lungs as she takes a breath. Orbs search and look for answers within the moon deer. She wanted to say man the fuck up! But she was silent letting her sparks fall back into a dripping sadness. Just keep playing their game, it will eventually pay off...

Failed Son of Satan, Incapable Child of the Light, Vagrant Soul of the Earth

SHE'D wandered off again. Violet eyes flicker open at the sudden lack of warmth next to him. The mist around him thickens as his hair bristles. Akriel extricates himself from the spot he'd occupied near their mother to follow her fading form through the brush. Mild annoyance ripples through his form. The princess of the damned was far too dark a creature without his ghostly light to guide her true.

Her pace is a mixture of relaxation and speed, erratic; excitement? He was unsure. He soon falls behind in his efforts to remain undetected. After all, he was no professional yet. Still, he seems to manage escaping her detection. By the time he's arrived there is a bird in a tree, squirrels burning to ash, and Castiella beating the shit out of an attempt at fake crying. He sighs quietly from the shadows. It really didn't take long for the demon to wreak havoc did it? An grown-up companion comes rushing through the bushes then and the situation begins to look grim for his sister. Well, time to take control of the situation and mop up as best he could. He sends out a ghost-squirrel to hover up her leg, hover-plop itself on her nose, and then fart a poof of plasmatic mist all about her face. It wouldn't do anything like obscure her vision or cause harm but, hopefully, it would get his point across. The little shit was just fucking with this poor soul...and he was in their herd too!

"Castiella." boomed his coltish voice as he stepped from the shadows. Two ghost-koi swirled around each shoulder as he moved. The mist about his body tinged red in anger. He turned to the phoenix and then the deer-thing with a nod. Sending the ghost koi out in friendly swirls to each.
"You'll have to forgive my twin, she does not quite have the hang of her magic yet. I am sure she only meant to stun the creatures and not cause damage. She can be quite....reckless."  Or, rather, a piece of shit, but you know....details.

He takes his place at her shoulder and whispers in her ear, "Father will be displeased to hear of this. And, for fucks sake, leave those in our own herd alone you moron.""  He smiles warmly at the two other creatures present. Don't mind me, I'm just damage management.

The crying and whimpers draw the dark stag’s attention away from the bird. The fire bird only looks back blankly, but the moon eyes watch in efforts to understand. Then they wince. Not for the first time, and not for the last, the dark stag wishes he could speak. It would make his life ever so much easier to tell her. To say it was alright, that this was normal….well…as normal as a painful transformation can be. He even forgets for a moment, a short gruff coming out. Large ears fall back and he looks to the fire bird.

Another burst upon the scene, and the stag, his chest suddenly expanding and ear flat and his head, lightly leaps over the log to stand in front of the fire bird. He may have been late, but the stag was ever true.

The phoenix looks around the dark body, its feathers ruffling to hear the booming voice. It trills as the creature comes to stand by the red filly, its feet shifting. White eyes turning narrow. The colt was loud and brashly smooth. Another force stirs in the bird, unsettled by the colt’s criticism of the filly. Haldir was not as upset and he steps back to turn and look to the fire bird.

The phoenix raises its wings, hovering them open as if to lift from the log. Perhaps he’d fly off and leave this odd little gathering. But he stops. Then, as if the very air were sucked from his, he exhales deeply, and merely leaps off the log. The flames, licking about each feather seem to grow dull. Gold head drops, as if heavy…The magic was still so young, and the body so small, how could it sustain such magics for long.

The sharp white eyes look up one last time, then close away. Haldir backs from the bird, but without worry as flames on the body grow, expanding, licking about brighter before they seem to settle…forming again the small pale colt, curled in a ball, head resting.

Galahad stirs with a soft moan. His whole body ached, every muscle and nerve bleeding with effort. “Castiella…” It whispers. The dark stag steps forward again, his white snipped muzzle nudging the colt. It calls him awake from whatever dream he still felt. Sea blue eyes open, white center line still and calm. He looks around himself, but does not rise, nor move from Haldir’s feet. Instead he settles his gaze upon the red filly, ignoring the other he was his friend...., his face twisting slightly. “Its alright….” Was he telling her…or himself?

God damn right, you should be scared of me. Who is in CONTROL?

Alright, the situation was calming down finally... The moon deer looked like he was trying to speak, trying to talk to her. Her quivering lip began to stop as she looked upon his body. Good, finally she might find a reason to stop crying! With a hard swallow, she listened to the deer grunt. Her expression fell questioned as she watched him move about. The Firebird was still there ugh... this will be a lot of explaining. She wanted to roll her eyes and just walk away, but no, no, NO. Friend... She was making a FRIEND. God help her!

Then a ghost squirrel started to run up her leg. The girl danced and shrieked at the creature. Great now she was going to be haunted by fuzzy tail rat ghosts! Then it sat on her nose and farted. Her face twisted and turned as she heard her brother arrive. Sparks arched with anger and rage as he came up to her side. Blood drenched orbs shot a disapproving glance. He will pay for this, but later... That will be another time, she had to act like she was kind and caring."Akriel you scared me!" the girl pouted as she watched the bird start to move about. "Galahad please don't leave! It is just my brother. " Her voice reached out to the Firebird as she watched the moon deer jump about. Then her brother speaks cleaning up her mess and covering her ass yet again. A meek smile formed on her face. She wanted to rip her brother a new ass for scaring her, but he was patching her fuck up.

When he whispers in her ear the girl smiles and plays it off. "We will deal with Mother and Father later. Just shut your mouth. I am making a friend." She whispers back so only Akriel ay hear. Then something magical happens. The Firebird begins to change and shift into something. Galahad! She wanted to scream his name, but instead, she stood quietly. See, good thing she did not kill him. He has super exciting magic. Her small hooves went trotting over to the moon deer and her new friend. "Oh, your back! That was really cool Galahad. " She smiles and puts on a happy face for the boy. Teal orbs looked to the moon deer than to her brother. She almost let a deviant smirk fall upon her features, but she just flicked her tail with happiness. This acting gig was getting too easy.

THE fallen demon child takes great pleasure in his sister's rare show of surprise as the squirrel does it's ghostly duty. Then he's down to just two ghosts. Violet eyes watch silently as the bird suddenly trasnforms back into a...a foal? And a colt at that!

Wait a second! Akriel narrows his eyes and looks between the two. Did she, did she actually like this guy? He huffs quietly, feeling left out, and watches their exchange. Even if she did like the other youth this whole pouting, teary-eyed act was full lie. She hadn't even cried the last time they'd been grounded for a week! A whole week! He whispers in her ear, "Oh, a friend huh? Thats new. Are you sure you don't just like like him hmmmmm?"

His feathers ruffle at the slight the other colt gives him in ignoring his presence. Fine. The ghost child would just have to be better than his sister."Yes, I do agree! That is a magnificent magic!"  The ghost-Koi both swirl around the colt, worried at the youth's lack of energy, mimicking Akriel's own worry. "Are you ok? Do you need anything? I am her twin, Akriel." His violet gaze rests politely on the colt laying at the foot of the deer-thing with great curiosity and, unlike his sister, true concern. Or well, at least he -thought- she was still only faking it.

The dark stag steps back as the others comes closer. A thrum through his bond pulls him from the scene to look into the woods…oh dear. With a heavier gaze the stag looks back. Thranduil was coming.

The pale colt moans softly as his head rises up, wavering, but as he sees the red mare come toward him, his frown grows longer. Oh god…he had just. Sea eyes glance about and see a burned place in the grass and he wants to groan again. Oh gods…Perhaps he had been upset at the deaths, and perhaps they might still trouble him when he laid his head to rest tonight, but now, in this moment, the colt feared worse the loss of his friend. That’s what would happen right? If you found out the colt you thought was a friend turned out to be some weird burning bird thing. You’d do just like this red filly is doing and –

Compliment him. A confused face turns upward to her. Cool? She thought it was cool? Bewilderment crossed him. First she wasn’t freaking out and thinking it was weird (like his parents had), then she liked it? But it was painful, so torturous…mixed in with him being unable to comfort her and talk…she thought it was cool? “Really?” He says it in wonder, disbelief…but his eyes sparked, and he raised his head a little higher, revealing ever so subtly, how high the filly’s comment left him.

Finally the other colt catches his attention. Twin. He’d heard twin somewhere. Smoke rolls over him. Harks fall back at first, but then the colt lets himself grow curious. Fish, they were fish! A small smile grows on his lips, nosing one of the fish. But wait, don’t distract too much….They liked it? It still baffled him. "I’m sorry I worried you…” He still believed her acts, every line and tear, and now her twins’ too. Nodding to extend the same apologies to both.

“I’m fine…thanks.” The colt glances to Haldir, but the stag is off looking into the woods. The colt paid him no mind though. Instead he looks to his new friends. “I’m Galahad.” He speaks to the brother. He still did not rise though. How bad would it look if he stumbled over and let the pain voice itself in front of his new friends? So instead he stays, but he would rather forget what just happened, not wanting to give them the opportunity to change their minds,….so he tries to throw the topic off. “Are these fish yours?” The colt asks with a grin. “I like them.” Why couldn’t he have magic like that? It wouldn’t be the first time the pale colt wished to change fates. Why couldn’t he have ghost fish friends instead of a powerful dark burning other side that takes over whenever it wants…..like a true kid he whines. Life was unfair.
