His parents were dead. If Julius and Armada were still alive, surely someone would have recognized him by now...and if they did recognize him, they would also have known his twin, Solomon. But neither of those things had happened. He was alone here.

Pink - He could have sworn he just saw a flash of pink, flit across the sky. Vermillion's heart began to race. He was too young to recall the onset of his pink-paranoia - couldn't remember that it was his father Julius, who had the strange obsession. Now, all he knew, was that pink meant danger to his little mind. Frightened, but curious as to what the cause could be, Vermillion picked up a light trot, scanning the skies for the culprit.

Not knowing the land at all, the palomino colt wandered into the veil, without even realizing. His eyes suddenly fixated on a small red cardinal, who had perched itself amongst the shrines. Brightening instantly, Vermillion charged forward towards the little creature, immediately delighted by the small red bird. But as anyone could have predicted, the bird flew away, obviously dismayed by the horned beast lunging at it. Halting dejectidly, Vermillion looked around for where the little creature had gone; "Come back!" he called uselessly, his boyish voice sounding small, and weak.


[OOC: Vermillion would like a normal companion - that red cardinal, to be precise...Common' lucky roll!]
