Hope and pray that you never need me, but rest assured I will not let you down.

The stallion carefully picked his way toward the shrines, slightly cloven hooves griping the rock and giving him a faint advantage against the treacherous terrain. The path beneath him was worn smooth by countless hooves, and he feels insignificant in the face of such a revelation. Hundreds, thousands even, had trod this same road, all seeking some favor or another. Who was he to approach the gods, ruined and voiceless, selfishly demanding power and giving nothing in return? It was a wonder the gods even bothered to answer.

Something glints on the smooth rock, drawing his gaze to a chunk of quartz. Carefully, the buckskin picks the crystal up in his mouth, wincing as his malformed horn sends a sliver of pain through the left side of his face. He continues his journey, reaching the shrines a few minutes later. Respectfully, he approaches the alter to the Moon Lady and lays his gift upon it. He knows the offering is not much, but he hopes it will count for something. He retreats and bows before the shrine, waiting to see if the Goddess will answer.

(OOC: Lynx seeks the ability to summon and control some sort of monster for a brief amount of time.)
