The woods are lovely, dark and deep.</style>
But I have promises to keep, and miles to go before I sleep.</style>
Nighttime echoes with beautiful solitude and dignified splendor over the the crown of the star-struck mare. Golden nebulae across her legs brightly reflect the silver stars in the sky, the crescent atop her rump not so unlike the sliver of luminosity thinly veiled behind tissue paper clouds. Gingerly she walks, a nimble creature weaving across the narrow strip of uncut stone and roughly hewn stairs, her tall and slender form silhouetted or illuminated, dependent on the whims of the lava that spilled out of the island, curling and rolling down to the turbulent sea. Far above a gryphon cries, excited to be here and enjoying the bright evening sky. She has not been here for some time, to this place of honor and mystery, but as she makes the trek she feels an unusual peace, a soothing sense of right that seems out of place, considering how wrong her world has been.
For, how many seasons has it been since she helped to claim her sister a home, and in all that time has she once felt as though she belonged? No - she belongs here, in an ever-changing realm of mystery, a place out of time that whispers with memories and secrets and untapped power and terrible, wonderful beauty. She tops the steps and pauses to rest before approaching the shrine she wants, dropping onto it a polished shell that Kali found the week before.
"Lady, will you visit your daughter tonight?" Her voice is deep and still, hopeful and tinged with sorrow. She has been so lost these past seasons. She hopes that now, in the light of the moon, she might be found.
[ ooc || Rishima would like the ability to replicate the magic of those she comes in contact with, a la Heroes. She won't be able to take on more that one ability at a time, and it will take her some time to be able to control when she gains a new magic ]
