Aisha had kept conversation quiet though there journey to the Throat. Her mind had drifted of,thinking of when Midas had done the same for her,as she was doing for Hale. Introducing him to home. Well, hopefully anyway. She was proud of herself for helping him,so much so that a smile became plastered onto her maw. She hoped he would stay. She liked him.

Feeling her hoofs hit the sand she extended her stride, allowing her to gain better distance with less effort. She continued a little way into the desert land until she halted, turning to look back at Hale. His golden finger blended well with the sand. She gazed outwards behind him,the way they had come before flicking her attention back to him. "So this is my home." She paused for a moment, cocking her head to one side, wondering what he thought of the place. "The leader here is Kri,and may I say,if you choose to join,he will be protected and respected you whole life." With a flick of her tail she was by his side, looking outwards in the direction he was. "So,what do you think?"

"blah blah blah."

Hale
The Valiant

The journey was slow and quiet. Hale appreciated the silence. For one of the first moments a feeling of belonging came over him. This just seemed right, following this mare, going to his new home.
His golden coat shined in the light of day and as he walked his muscles rippled all over his body. When they reached the sand Aisha lengthened her stride so Hale did as well. Swinging his head from side to side, pulling himself across the sand, his muscles bulged even more. He was an exceptionally build stallion and from rigorous training he was in extremely good shape as well.
When the two reached what seemed like mountains of sand without the water, she stopped and turned to him. A second passed when she said, "So this is my home." Cocking her head to the side, she turned his attention to everything that lay ahead of them. He was so fixated on what was in front of him that he hadn't even noticed what lay in the distance.
"The leader here is Kri,and may I say,if you choose to join,he will be protected and respected you whole life." Then she stepped back, her hooves sinking in the dry sand, and she was beside him. "So what do you think?
The heavy stallion was dumbfounded, he didn't know what to make of this place just yet. A second later he regained his composure, lifted his head, and narrowed his eyes. "I would like to see more of this place," he spoke curtly looking to the distance. Then he turned and looked straight into the dark mare's eyes and said, "Will you show me?"

I would like to see more of this place. She smiled to herself. Why wouldn't he? It wasn't a stupid thing to ask her. Perhaps he was being wiser then her when she first joined. She hadn't even asked to see any more the the desert land, she had made her mind up the moment she stepped onto the rolls of sand. Not the she regretted joining. Will you show me? The smile inside her broke free, her lips curling up as the side, smiling and nodding at him,her blue eyes glinting in the sun light.

"Of course I will show you." She winked at him playfully. It had been a while since she had a good gallop. Laughing she reared and charged forward, disrupting the sand. As she galloped on she called back she laughed kindly. "You coming?" She turned to face where she was going, throwing up her head and letting out a shrill neigh in joy as the gallop. To get to the lake would not take long if they went at this speed.

Kicking down sand as she traveled up one of the larger dunes straining her neck to look over. Yes. The lake was there. She halted at the top of the dune,a light breeze picked up her mane and tail, making them seemingly fly. Few horses were scattered round the lake. Some were drinking some chatting. It was a pleasant sight to see. It showed the herd as friends as well as family. She turned to Hale, speaking softly. "So?"

"blah blah blah."

"Of course I will show you." She winked at him then, the wink had a little bit of an edge to it.. Rearing and laughing, she took off, spraying sand everywhere. She leaned backwards completely on her haunches and leapt forward, sand sinking under her hooves. She leaned back, a cheeky grin on her face, and asked, "You coming?" Her graceful head tossed in the air and a small shriek of joy escaped her dark lips.
He couldn't be upstaged by this mare; he rounded his neck and tensed all of his muscles to appear twice as big as he was when relaxed. His muscles glistened and veins popped out across his body. His neck was massive and showed off his true power, the contours of it were extreme. He reared up so high he was almost upright and jumped into a gallop. His take-off was so massive that he left a dent in the sand. His hair flowed in the wind. Each stride was bigger than the last and though he wasn't the fastest of stallions, he was powerful. He ran up the dunes with ease and leaped over the tops. He caught up to Aisha and nudged her side playfully.
That was when he saw it, a huge lake lay below the dunes surrounded by many horses. They were all at ease and seemed to be connected to each other in some impossible way. It was a pleasant sight, and maybe even a little hopeful if only he could find a way to fit in.

Aisha couldn't help laughing. She was glad Hale had joined in the gallop with her and hadn't looked down on her for being so playful as some would. She found herself enjoying the stallions company more and more, happy that she had bumped into such a nice guy. The playful nudge he gave her made her laugh even more. She was certain she had mane a good friend.

She turned her head, nipping him playfully. "You coming down?" She turned her head forward again, trotting forward in a flowing motion, seemingly gliding over the sand till she came to the lake. Dipping her head gracefully and drinking the cool liquid. The trickle of water down her Throat was refreshing after her gallop. She then looked up to Hale. "Were more then a herd. Were family." She smiled at him. The smile said it all. She loved it here and hoped he would to.

The mood was much lighter now; it was something Hale wasn't used to. He hadn't had much of a childhood so most of the time he avoided these types of situations for fear of doing something inappropriate. Almost all of the time he was all business but on the inside he wanted to be more...normal, though he knew he never would.
"You coming down? She trotted forward towards the lake, and the herd. Not pausing for a second, she took to the water and looked at Hale once she had finished. He was still standing quite a ways away. It seemed like everyone's eyes were on him, or maybe that was just him being paranoid. A long time had passed since this many souls surrounded him and it made him very uncomfortable. Uncomfortable was also something he wasn't used to being. Slowly, cautiously, he made his way down from the dune. He picked out his steps carefully, not wanting to make a fool of himself.
Once he had, rather awkwardly, joined Aisha, she said to him, "We're more than a herd. We're family." He liked the sound of that. A family is something he needed, even if he wouldn't admit it. It would be nice to have someone to lean on, to talk to. For far too long he had to keep things to himself; he had to be strong for his people...or the people that would have been his. Here he could just be normal. And he would be accepted, or so he hoped. Though his emotions were so conflicted he let none of them show when he could help it. To others, he was indifferent, he was a rock.
"So what's next?" He said this in a gruff, matter-of-fact tone and lifted his head high, surveying the premises.

She was slightly concerned when he didn't join her side by the lake. Maybe he didn't feel he fitted in well enough? She mused over the thought, coming the the conclusion that it was normal to feel out of place in a new land with new horses. When he joined her side a sense of relief rolled over her. At least he is trying. The smiled on her face widened. So what's next? She turned on her heels in one graceful movement. There wasn't really much to show, the only other thing interesting was Dragons Blood. Well, the tree Dragons Blood. "Well there is one more thing...If you interested?" It was a slight rhetorical question. She didn't hang around for a answer. She set of at a collected canter, looking back and calling. "Come on." Still smiling.

She halted by the tree. Dead branches sprawled out above her head, red sap leaking out of it. The Dragons Blood. It was a perfect name for it and the sap looked like blood and it was the only tree to survive the Dragons fire. "Dragons Blood. The only tree to survive the dragons fire." Hopefully a bit of history wouldn't bore him. She smiled, walking over to him. "So this is the Throat." She nipped him. "Remember if you ever need help I will be there." She bowed respectfully. "Anything else you want to see or know about?"

"blah blah blah."
