[Continued from here.]

Anyone willing to train in combat, was a-okay in Gaucho's books. Not that he could read, or would even understand what the phrase meant, but you get the idea. As Ayaka agreed to spar with Gaucho, his steely blue gaze re-assessed the Heavenly Fields with battle in mind. Given the high altitude, the day was hot, but not so humid. Thankfully the fields were above the line of the clouds making the air thing and dry. But the lack of moisture in the air was a double edged sword, for while he would not be sucking down mouthfuls of heated oxygen, the thin air quality in itself would tax his muscles the same, if not more. His opponent was several hands shorter than he was, and while normally Gaucho found his height to be a strong advantage, he was sure Ayaka's size would help her in this heat. While her pelt appeared thick and full, he was sure that it would also insulate her against over heating.

Backing up a few paces, Gaucho narrowed his blue eyes. Now that he thought about it, the she-wolf was tiny, compared to him. He was a good mover, yet he was not able to dance lithely about as mares like Aryel had been able to. Once he got going, it was difficult to stop - and he could not change the course of his bucks, or rears easily. Given her size, he anticipated that it would be quite difficult to hit her with his hooves. Although given that his hoof was about the size of her face, that might not be such a bad thing. Gaucho loved to spar, but didn't want any fatalities wrongly associated with his name. He was proud of those he had killed, and so far, that list included only intentional deaths.

Now about 7 feet back from his, Gaucho spread his massive black wings to either side of his body, making himself appear significantly larger. They were held straight out, barring her from attacking his flanks, unless she went all the way around. Snorting, he dropped his muzzle to about the height of her back, tilting the newly-antlered forward towards her, as he had seen deer and moose do. If she were to attack him head on, he would easily be able to fight her off using the spines of the rack. Still, Gaucho was smiling. It was a honourable and primal sort of emotion that washed across his features; incredibly grateful for the chance to spar, but also quite serious about the task.

"Ayaka" He grunted, almost affectionately. "You start." Raising his tail slightly in anticipation, he let his vision relax, focusing on nothing. His primitive nature took over, focusing on everything and nothing at the same time. By letting his gaze go slack, he was better able to perceive movements, rather than trying to watch her and predict what she would do.

[Yay practise spars :3 You may attack first. We'll do 2 attack posts, and 1 defence just to keep it short, and the once it's over, we'll resume the thread in the Fields?
Summary: Gaucho backs up about 7 feet from tells Ayaka she may begin. He opens his wings and lowers his head

Thanks for sparring with Gaucho!]

As Gaucho began to back up, Ayaka braced herself. Her heart was pounding as her eyes looked like wild fires, full of life and forever untamable. Her legs stiffened and her mind seemed to wander on thoughts of what she might do. She wondered if fighting a horse was anything like hunting a deer. Maybe she would have an advantage because of her size and swift figure. He was a very, very large Pegasus and maybe it would take longer for him to dodge her moves or try to attack. Perhaps it would be easier to fight a horse? But she knew that she had to be on the total top of her game. With one blow from his hoof or ram with his antlers, she could end up with a broken rib. Or worst, she could end up like her old alpha male, dead from the clutches of an ungulate.

She let her claws dig into the earth below her as her paws stayed firm on the ground and felt the dirt and grass. As Gaucho told her to start, she closed her eyes and pointed her maw to the ground as she steadied herself. She would attempt to win. He did not know what he was up against. He was up against a top predator. But she also did not know what she was up against. He was a pure warrior. A soldier that could easily take her out. The sun warmed her as she took three breathes in, and three out. She was ready. She lifted up her maw again, and then opened her eyes that glared playfully at Gaucho and a furious growl come rumbling from her chest. As her eyes were locked onto him, she sprinted towards him.

Ayaka leaped up at his left shoulder and opened her jaw. She aimed to drive her razor like teeth into the shoulder. She did not want to hurt Gaucho too bad, for she had no reason to. This was only a little spar and not a fight. Success with her move would only bring a manor cut that would draw a little blood. Since she was a very large wolf, she probably would not do too much damage to him. Jumping back down to her feet, she dashed around him and then attempted to leap up and to dig her claws onto his broad back as she tried to sink her land fangs into his soft flesh. She jumped down, her tongue lolling from her mouth. She would make one more move before letting herself focus on dodging his attacks. With a snarl released from her throat, she lifted her maw up to the height of his withers. She let out an eerie howl, fire streamed out of her throat as she aimed it to singe off a bit of his hair on the tops of his withers and back. Drawing her howl to a conclusion, the fire began to die out. Now feeling totally worn out, she closed her eyes and tried to regain a small bit of energy. A Fire Howl took lots out of her, and made her feel weak until her vigor rebuild.

[[Ok! Also, are we alowed to use magic? If not I will redo my post! ;)]]

WC:: 530

Summary:: Ayaka dashes towards Gaucho and attempts to slice his left shoulder with his teeth. She runs to the other side of him (Right side) and jumps up and tried to claw his side and bite it. Her last move is a Fire Howl (when she howls a stream of fire comes from her throat) and she tries to singe a bit of fur off of his wither and back.

With fire to keep us warm & tools we made from rocks and bones
[Image: 5105621d5416e]</style>

Although Gaucho was a strong creature, the muscles in his neck were still getting used to the weight of the rack of antlers upon his brow. To begin the spar, he had set himself up defensively, with his head lowered, planning on using the antlers to fight Ayaka off, should she come for him straight on. Having only fought equines before, Gaucho was astonished to see how quickly a creature her size could move. As she launched herself towards his left shoulder, Gaucho awkwardly raised his head, trying to block her using his antlers, and failing completely. The weight felt foreign, and as he swung his neck he found his momentum and balance faltering. Gaucho grunted as her teeth sank into the skin on his left shoulder. The brute immediately pressed his wings to his sides instinctively - by holding them out at the angle he was, he may have in fact aided her in attacking his shoulder.

As blood trickled from the flayed skin on his shoulder, he felt that sensation again, that darkness he had felt when the antlers bonded to his forehead. It was like an itching behind his eye and under his skin. Snorting, his lip snarling as his mind tried to deduce whether this was a pleasurable, or painful sensation. What had she done? Was there some venom in her bite that was now effecting him? Emitting a sharp squeal, Gaucho found that at least he was still able to move, or so it seemed. Lost in the experience of his body accepting his new magic for the first time, he failed to defend himself against Ayaka's attack to his back. As he felt her claws grip onto his wide back and folded wings, his mind suddenly snapped back into sharp focus. The combination of her teeth and claws on his skin was infuriating; magic would be no aid to him if he was distracted by it. Grunting, he dropped his left shoulder hoping to dislodge her, and bucked.

As she jumped from his back, he continued to whirl all the way to the left, facing her. The itch of his magic now became like a wave within him - sloshing behind his eyes and tingling in his hooves. Unknowingly, Ayaka's initial bite had released the potential energy of his magic, and now it was simply waiting to be let out. As Ayaka howled, Gaucho found himself astonished to see a stream of fire coming from her throat. Instinctively he shoved himself backwards, his nostrils flaring as his steely blue gaze eyed the fire fearfully. Rearing into the air, he pawed defensively at the flames, singeing the hair around his fetlocks, and causing a sun-burn like sensation on his knees and lower forelegs.

Without truly understanding how, he felt a wave of cold rush within him. The beads on the dreamcatcher, laced between his horns began to glow faintly, as three distinct spirits comprised of smoke poured out of the dream catcher. They were each of them smaller than Ayaka, taking the form of wolves with flashing teeth and hungry eyes. Floating to the ground they issued unearthly barks and snarls as they moved to circle the she-wolf. Instinctively, without any rational basis, Gaucho believed that they would not harm him. Using the opportunity to his advantage, Gaucho lunged towards Ayaka, lowering his antlers and moving much like a bulldozer, hoping to knock into her using the spines of his rack. As he moved, following her movements, he began to toss his lowered head, while he kicked out with exaggerated movements, hoping to strike her using his forelegs.

[Magic is definitely okay!

Summary: Tries to block her using his antlers and misses. He folds his wings to his back, but becomes distracted by his magic allowing her to jump onto his back. Snapping back, he drops his left shoulder and bucks to get her off. Spinning around (rotating left) to face her, he backs up frightening as she howls fire at him, and rears pawing at the flames, burning his hair and singeing his forelegs/knees. Using his magic, three wolf-spirits, smaller than Ayaka come from his dreamcatcher and try to circle her (I believe if she bites at them, they would just disappear :) ), hoping she will be distracted, he lowered his head and tries to bulldoze her with his horns, and kick out at her using his front legs.

Attack 1/2 : Magic - 3 small spirits, Tries to hit her with his horns and kicks at her using his front hooves.]

Wonder crossed Ayaka’s mind as the beads on Gaucho’s dream-catcher began to glow. Smoke seemed to engulf the heavy antlers upon the brute’s head. Three small ghostly wolves came out in rage. Eyes angry and fangs bared. As they came to her and began circle around her, dancing with cunning howls and rumbles erupted from their almost transparent mouths. A smile came from her white lips. How beautiful they looked. Their pelts seemed ghastly and their evil calls sounded as if they were a faint call coming from the back of her cranium. Even though these wolves were supposed to be vicious, they still looked so cool. Smoke seemed to lift from their foggy backs and their puny paws seemed to not even touch the ground. Putting her muzzle down to touch them, they disappeared in tiny puffs of smoke.

Before she even had a change to lift her maw from the ground, a large weight rammed into her, sweeping her off of her feet and knocked the wind out form her stomach. She had never felt this kind of pain before. The feeling of not being able to move or breathe. It seemed like she was fighting for ever wheeze she was able to get. Her tongue lolled from her mouth tiring to help, but nothing seemed to make it could back. As the pain began to become even more notice able from the actual gash was pierced in the side on her right side, she began to catch her breath once again. Never did she think that she would be so thankful for a breath of air. She then lifted herself from the ground. She turned her maw to look at the huge rip in the side on her. Its pain was indescribable. She had been bitten and scratched before, but never bulldozed by some horse’s antlers. It was much a much more bigger and serious wound than a bite could ever bring, even if it was a large wolf.

She saw Gaucho begin to start kicking out and she knew that there was no escape. She closed her fiery eyes and prepared for the pain to begin. The fae then felt a sharp pain in her front left leg. A painful squeal emerged from her throat. Lifting her leg from the ground and opening eye orbs again, she glanced at it quickly. She was lucky that it struck her when his leg was not at it most powerful kick. Any harder and, if not all ready, would have been broken right in half. Maybe this was just a small crack in the born that will heal maybe next season? Even though probably not broken, the pain still made its way up all of her injured leg. She pt her leg back on the ground, but could not help but add a helpless whimper when so.

What are you doing Ayaka? She thought. If there was one thing she learned from being a top predator, it was to never show your pain. Even if your injury was three broken ribs and a half ripped off piece of flesh, never show pain! They were to show dignity in their demanding eyes. They could grief all they wanted outside their battle, but inside…. Show no mercy and no pain! For this particular spar, she did not have to show no mercy, for it was only a small spar. That was for when in a big fight.

She looked up at the massive Pegasus with envy. If only she had a rack of antlers on top her head. Then she would be close to undefeatable. She must plan this attack out with caution though, for she would not want him slipping out her grip. Her eyes darkened as her ears pinned back. Her fur bristled as her tail lifted up and she revealed her large canine teeth. She then dashed over to him and ran under him. She made an attempt to nip and clench her teeth onto his under belly. She quickly darted from under his stomach. She leaped up to the right side of his neck and tried to drive and dug her fangs into his flesh. That was sure to bring an immense amount of pain if her bites did not miss. Lastly, she would bring out another Fire Howl. She pushed herself off of the bay stallion the leaped in front to him. She would not aim to burn him this time, but she would set the grass in front of them a flame. Letting out an ear piercing howl, fire sprouted from her mouth and spread all over the ground, separating the two animals. If Gaucho wanted to attack her again, he would have to find a way to get over the flames.

WC:: 797

Summary:: Gets hit by Gaucho's ram with his antlers and knocks the wind out of her. Her also gets a large wound on her right side. She also gets struck with his kick, possibly cracking her leg. She then runs under his stomach and attempts to nip and bite his underbelly. Next her tries to bite the right side of his upper neck. She then does a Fire howl and lites the ground on fire creating a barricade bettween them.

Attack:: 2/2

Denfence:: 0/1

Magic:: Lites the ground on fire bettween both of them creating a barricade.

With fire to keep us warm & tools we made from rocks and bones

The sensation of picking up the she-wolf with his antlers was incredibly satisfying. He felt...empowered somehow by this action. He was a large creature, and had used his size to his advantage in the majority of his spars, by knocking into his opponents and sending them staggering. Yet actually lifting her, was a magnificent feeling. Although this was only a spar, Gaucho could still feel the itch in the back of his brain, telling him how easy it would be in that moment to completely crush the life out of her. To perhaps cage her under his rack and beat her senseless with his hooves. For a primitive creature like Gaucho, the idea of killing someone was utterly consuming. Of snuffing their life out, of watching their hot blood running until finally it would run no more...It was a sensual feeling, warming his belly and causing a stirring in his loins just thinking about it. As his hoof connected with hers, he felt the sensation increase. At the beginning of the spar he had anticipated how hard it would be to strike her with his hooves, and he had been right. The connection between their flesh was made that much more satisfying by her speed and agility.

Had Gaucho been aware that one of the tines of his antler had in fact gashed Ayaka, he may have pulled back slightly. Gaucho was not one to throw a spar simply to see if his opponent was alright, but nor did the brute typically maim and injury senselessly. As the antlers did not grow from his head, all he felt was the impact of her body against the rack, rather than any specific point piercing her flesh. As she howled out in pain, a primal grin etched across his features, though given the downwards position of his head, he was unable to see the true pain in her eyes, or see her begin to favor her wounded leg.

With his head still mostly lowered, his reaction time was not as quick as it could have been, as she moved from nurturing her wounded paw, to running under his belly. As she moved around him, beginning to run under his stomach, he hopped into the air, extending all four legs straight off the ground, and beating his wings to try and increase the distance. From a standstill, the only ‘airtime’ he managed to achieve was possibly lifting himself an additional inch or two off of the ground, but it meant the difference between having her teeth tear off his flesh, or merely gouge him. Managing the latter of the two, Gaucho felt Ayaka’s teeth graze his soft underbelly, brutally scratching and causing instant blood-blister track marks where her teeth had been. Emitting a sharp squeal of anger, having never been bitten on his stomach before, he whirled around in time to see her reddish body leaping towards the right side of his neck. Driven by instinct and the knowledge that he was far bigger and could easily counter her momentum, Gaucho pushed himself forwards, raising his right shoulder to try and impact her as she struck his neck. Raising his muzzle high into the air to avoid her claws or teeth from doing any damage to his eyes, he hurtled his outstretched right wing towards her body, hoping to knock into her shoulder and causing her to fall from him. He could feel blood rushing to the surface of his neck, and could feel the stinging sensation of where her teeth had sunk into his thick muscles. His blood, mixing with his slick sweat and the moisture from the heated Tallsun afternoon, caused trickles of milky pink to begin making small tributaries on his dark hide.

As she leaped off, Gaucho grunted with pain as the muscles in the right side of his neck began to immediately stiffen from the impact. Just as he was about to lunge for her again, she opened to her mouth once again to emit a howl of flame. A look of terrified fury overtook his emotionless gaze as he quickly stepped back about 4 paces from the wall of flame. Snorting impatiently, he eyed the fire warily as it crackled and tried to consume the lush moist grass. As much as he wanted to simply go through, his primal nature told him that fire was to be feared, and treated with respect. If she could create a fire simply by howling, how was he to know that it was regular fire that burned so brightly in front of him? He could fly over it, of course, but given the time it would take him to get his large self air-born, it would give her enough time to easily avoid him as he landed. Feeling blistering sweat pop up on his shoulders and chest from the heat of the fire, and the sun, Gaucho reared up, flapping his great black wings at the flames, to try and blow them towards Ayaka, possibly burning her with her own magic. Having spilled more blood now, instead of three small vapors, 1 large smokey-spirit ebbed from his antlers, in the shape of a great bear, easily twice the size of Ayaka. Made of star-stuff, the bear easily lumbered through the fire, leaping over Ayaka magically and trying to barricade her between its body, and the flames Gaucho was blowing her way.

[I’m assuming the barricade you had her make was supposed to be big enough he couldn’t jump over, or just quickly run around? You didn’t specify, so I’m just going to act as though it wasn’t something Gaucho could quickly avoid. :)

Summary: Gaucho continues to attack Ayaka, unaware that one of his antler-tines pierced her. He hops into the air to try and avoid her biting his stomach, but only succeeds in lessening the severity. Her teeth scrape the skin causing blood-blisters and bruising, but not tearing the flesh. Turning, he sees her flying towards him and throws his right shoulder into her oncoming attack and raises his head to avoid injury. As she bites at his neck, causing wounds, he tries to hit her with his right wing to get her off. Once she creates the flame-wall, he rears and flaps his wings at the blaze to try and redirect the flames towards her. Having spilled more blood, a spirit the size and shape of a bear emerge from his antlers, magically sailing over the fire and trying to barricade her between itself and the flames. Note, if she touches the larger spirit, there is the potential for her to feel a chill or numbing for 15 seconds, as well as feeling fear.

Defense: Hops into the air to avoid her teeth, hits her with his right wing as she attacks his neck.
Attack 2/2 : Uses his wings to try and move the fire towards her, issues a spirit-bear at her. ]

As the fire cracked and roared, she let her tongue loll from her mouth. Blood stained her white lips and slightly dripped her tongue. She looked at the damage she had done to the large brute named Gaucho. Compared to her, he looked as if he only had a couple of small gashes and bruises. He did have a larger body than her and the wounds that seemed in her mind would turn out as major, looked very minor on his massive figure. The fae, on the other hand, had a smaller frame than him and even if he had just even given her a bite on her shoulder, it would stand out. She glanced at her wounded shoulder. Blood poured down form the injury all the way down her leg. Her leg felt like if her put any more pressure on it, it would have snapped in half. As the gleaming fur on the back of her neck and her back bristled. She prepared for his next move.

Gaucho flapped his wings, creating a large wind that sent the fire rushing over to lick her pelt. She found no way to escape it, but she simply ducks to escapes the hot burning sensation from getting to her face. The feeling of heat, far hotter than the sun of her red coat, scorched the black guard hairs on her back and some of her soft fur and flesh under it. It felt like she had soared up to the sun and flew right into it. A sharp and painful yip slipped from her throat as it singed her pelt and flesh. As the image of a huge bear loomed out of the fire she wondered if it was from Gaucho’s dream-catcher. Its face broad face looked wise and proud. As she nipped at the image of it, a sharp cold feeling grew in her. She felt frozen to the bone and unable to move for a couple of seconds. As the chill wearied off she able to move her bones again. The flames continued to pour onto pelt and she knew she had to escape. Making a risky move, she leaped out of her laying down position and dodged the flames.

Now that she was safe from the flames, the pain from the scorches seemed to be filled with coolness and already began to feel better. Although the fae was itching to make one more attack to the bay steed, she knew that there was no use. Their spar was over and the teeth and hooves would stop lunging at each other. A smile came to her bloody lips. She let her guard down and started to relax her tensed muscles. The lupa’s fur that stood straight up on her back, flipped back to its normal placement. She would not even attempt to make one other aggressive move to Gaucho until their next spar.

((OCC:: Ok I totally understand that I was not clear about that. ;) Also, thanks for sparring! I also needed the partite.]]

WC:: 484

Summary:: Ducks down avoiding the fire to burn her face. It burns the fur on her back and a bit of the flesh on her back. When Gaucho sends the bear out of his dream-catchers she nips at it and it gives her a freezing chill for 15 seconds. After the 15 seconds are up, she gets up and dodges the flames to a safer place.

Attack:: 2/2 None

Defense:: 1/1 Dodges the flames to a safer place.

With fire to keep us warm & tools we made from rocks and bones
[Image: 5105621d5416e]</style>

With each stroke of his wings, fanning the flames, he felt the tightness on the right side of his neck increase. As the muscles in his shoulder and back pulled and pushed, he could feel his neck tensing - causing more blood to rush to the surface of his thick muscular neck; blood drooling out of the wounds Ayaka's teeth had created. Gaucho had to ignore the primal urge in the back of his mind to run from the flames - to ignore the heat on his knees and nose as the backdraft of the fire began to slowly envelope him. But the day was already swelteringly hot - and being in the Heavenly Fields, that much closer to the sun, was not helping.

Due to the height of the flames, Gaucho could not see whether or not Ayaka had been effected by his strategy, or by the spirit-bear. As her cry of pain wafted over the sound of burning grass and his own laboured breaths, he grunted with relief, immediately dropping to all-fours once again, and spinning hard to the right to distance himself from the fire. Trotting a few steps and panting heavily, Gaucho turned again to the right, having moved in a large oval, to face the flames once more from a safer distance. Lowering his head, his flanks heaving out and in, his wings drooped wearily down, his longest flight feathers brushing the lush grass. He was exhausted - The combination of his initial charge towards Ayaka, combined with the energy he expelled by beating his wings in such a fury to fan the flames, was draining to say the least. However, combining that with the pain of her bites and scratches on his neck and belly, and the sweltering heat from the sun and fire, made his efforts all the more gruelling

Perking his ears forward, his steely grey eyes monitored the flames, expecting to see her form leaping through at any moment for another attack. When none came, the brute grunted, relieved that the spar was over.He feared he had perhaps been too strong with the she-wolf, and may have hurt her unnecessarily. If she was of the Throat, he didn't want to cause her any undo harm. While he had taken into consideration how difficult it would be to land an attack on her swift, lithe form, he had not considered the potential damage that he could cause when he did land an attack.

His body was now slick with sweat, and yet oddly the war-paint markings were completely unaffected. The blood on his neck, having clotted somewhat, was now a mess of pinkish foam, and the cut on his nose was simply bright pink skin. "Ayaka?" He called out, eyeing the flames warily still, and moving no closer. Flicking his tail, he felt beads of sweat fly off, and sizzle onto the burning grass. He would be careful the next time he sparred with a wolf - he had been bitten by fellow equines before, but their herbivore teeth typically only caused bruises, or blood-blisters. Ayaka's teeth and claws on the other hand, had flayed the skin from his nose, bruised his belly, and wounded his neck. The red she-wolf was a true predator, and the brute found that he had a deeper respect for her now, than when they first began.

[Summary: Spins away from the flames once he hears Ayaka call out in pain. Moves back a few feet and calls out to her, still eyeing the flames.

Defence: Moves away from the flames.

Yay! I needed the practise too! Continue back in the fields? It would be your post I believe :3 ]

By my verdict GAUCHO is the winner. Gaucho can now use the endure buff!

AYAKA -- post 1 (attack only)

[Realism]
+ 1| Attack: shoulder bite – her teeth are not razor sharp. Granted they are sharper than a horse’s, but not razors.
- 1| Attack: claws to back – a wolf’s claws don’t grip as well or are as sharp as a cats claws. They could still hurt sure, but it doesn’t seem a realistic attack especially given how tall Gaucho is and coupled with the bite, it seems very awkward and puts you in a vulnerable spot.
0| Attack: biting – zero description about this attack
- 1| Attack: fire howl – this seems wiser to combo with another attack, because you describe it as if she’s just idly standing next to him, after just attacking him several times (therefore safe to assume he is repositioned and probably retaliating), howling fire at his withers. The timing and position of this doesn’t seem plausible. I would have stopped attacking at your claw and bite combo, since that already gives him a lot to respond too and now you sorta have too many attacks given everything you said you did.

[Prose]
0| Emotion – this was a very technical post
0| Flow – a bit chaotic and poor transitions
0| Easy read - typos

GAUCHO -- post 1

AYAKA -- post 2

[Realism]
- 1| Defense: no mention of the buck
- 1| Power Play: “Putting her muzzle down to touch them, they disappeared in tiny puffs of smoke” those wolves are the magic of Gaucho and therefore his to control.
- 1| Defense: wonder at the wolves – although realistic she’d feel wonder at the smoke wolves and it is good emotion, you should have coupled that with what the magic description says the spirits do, which is to cause fear and numbing at physical touch.
+ 1| Defense: took the charge – be careful, you gave yourself a lot of damage from that attack, so now you are limited in what you can physically do and you must remember these injuries the duration of the fight as they will heavily affect you.
+ 1| Attack: belly bite – risky, but your best option given your condition and common practice of wolves
- 1| Attack: shoulder bite – I already didn’t believe in the realism of this attack last time, but not with a very injured leg and a gashed side, there’s no way she could have endured that pain to do this.
+ 1| Attack: fire howl

[Prose]

GAUCHO -- post 2

[Realism]
+ 1| Defense: jumping up – given her injured leg and thus reduced speed I will give it to you that he’d have the time to react this way, but otherwise it would have been over so fast he couldn’t have done this.
+ 1| Defense: bitten on neck
+ 1| Attack: wing slam
+ 1| Attack: blowing the fire
+ 1| Attack: smoke bear

AYAKA -- post 3 (defense only)

[Realism]
- 1| Defense: No mention of his shoulder/wing jab
+ 1| Defense: burned by fire
- 1| Attack: nipped the bear – cannot attack in defense post
+ 1| Defense: chilled by the bear
- 1| Injury: running around so easily on her severely injured leg, that as you said, was about to snap.

Comments: Overall you had some good attacks and defenses, but I felt as though you rushed through this fight which gave you a lot of jumbled prose and attacks you didn’t seem to notice your opponent had made. I’d suggest slowing down and being more thorough, because some of those point loses or zeros could have been easily avoided. I would also really suggest you consider the injuries you take better, because they lack good description and then you seem to forget about them. You took a serious injury this fight that should have impacted every single thing you did or were going to do. Just keep practicing!

+ 1| Enjoyed his response to his first magic use.
+ 1| Also enjoyed the way you described him with the antlers, not being able to really feel her very well.

Comments: You did very well, but I would love to see more emotion. I know with Gaucho being primitive perhaps it’s more difficult for him, but I don’t feel fully enraptured during the fight. I want to know what his thoughts are, what he’s feeling with each attack/defense pretty much. He used his magic for the first time, wouldn’t that be mind-blowing?! Don’t forget to mention scenery too! Otherwise great attacks and defenses and explaining them well.
