TOR

Tor's heart was lead in her chest, weighed down by iron and the catastrophic mistakes she had made. Even despite Laila's forgivance, she still could not erase the time lost. What she hungered for, with a passion that drove so deeply, was to turn back the flow, so that she had never left. Was it foolish of her to desire this? Maybe it was. Yet the word time, and the idea of controlling her, vaguely woke her to some itch in the back of her skull, a nagging idea that crept on the edge of her consciousness and tickled there. She was too far to see it work, so she waited, patiently, knowing eventually it would trickle into something far more solid, more concrete than the wisp it was now. Indeed it had. In a cumbersome, painfully slow way, it had solidified, turning hard, and when she pulled it to the front of her head, it did not crumble, and it was so simple she sighed, shocked at her stupidity. The Time God.

It came during the morning, and her eyes widened in surprise, and her breath caught. Her eyes shut, against the searing brightness of the sun, and yet warmth exploded passionately throughout her, shining, sparkling warmth, hot as the lava that flowed through Helovia's Heart. How could she be so stupid as to not have come to terms with it earlier? How on earth...

The white lady had not wasted time. Firstly, she wondered as to tell Luken, Laila, and Destrier, or to slip off away. Yet the idea of disappearing again, no more how quickly, bit her quick and fast in her wildly thumping heart. No, she could not leave them again. Instead, the mare turned glowing cream came to them, and putting on her kindest, most excited face, asked them if they would come with her to the peninsula of stone rising from the churning waters of the ocean. No, she did not tell them why. Tor was not quite certain if they would wholly approve to the idea. In fact... it felt a little more like sneaking behind backs than anything. Of course, the draft wanted to prove herself. She wasn't seeking a shortcut. Quite simply, she wanted to spend that time missed with her children... if that made sense.
