You're busy dying if you're living in the past
On this day, Crowley had managed to slip away from the Basin and thus leaving Rhiannon in the care of her mother. The Weaver couldn't help but feel a twinge of discomfort as he stepped out of the Basin and to the more central part of Helovia. Despite the Corporal's disappearance after the birth of their daughter, Crowley didn't doubt Elizabeth's skills as a mother. He had faith that she was smarter than to stray away from the Basin with her and put Rhiannon's life in jeopardy in any way, shape or form, lest she face his fury and feel his wrath.

The reasoning behind his departure had been a simple one; to visit the Veins of the Gods. His last and only trip there had left him with nothing but the memory of the Sun God's annoyance, recalling the angry pillars of flame with clarity. Honestly, Crowley couldn't care less if he had upset the God of fire and flame; how was he to know of return? Of his absence? At that time, the brindle had spent little time in Helovia. His brethren had not yet even received their snowy home in the most northern parts of the land, if his memory served him correctly.

Moonlight had fallen upon his back by the time he reached the Veins, the prime time for the very God he wished to see. Behind him, the tendrils of darkness which had taken to following him had dimmed, but the eerie whispers entangled within them could still be heard if one listened hard enough. Ever since the terrifying encounter that had left the stallion with this strange enigma of darkness, Talbot had been glued to Crowley's side even more so than usual. He did not want to be alone again, and if he could help it, the Weaver wouldn't be disappearing ever again.

Coming to a stop at the shrine of the Moon, Crowley took a moment to consider the negatives he'd heard of the Goddess; how she had aided another group to take the Edge fro the unicorns, and the dark deeds she often send her followers on so that she may grant them their wishes. Exhaling gently, he bowed his head to the shrine; he would display utmost respect in the face of the lady of the night. "Goddess of the Moon," he spoke up, "I ask you grant this mere mortal your presence tonight."

(Crowley would like to upgrade his curse magic to be more powerful. I'm using a VOTG pass for this.)

He was wise to come under the guise of nightfall. There was something...unsettling about being sought in the light of day. Almost as if it forced her to appear only half-ready to greet the world, and that was certainly not a state that the Goddess liked to find herself in. Even so, she was in a particularly neutral mood. To say that it was a good mood, would certainly be an exaggeration, and yet her recent encounter with her son had done much to lift her spirits. She had her doubts, but now it seemed that he was back on the right track. Back on the path of the moon, and the way of the wind. Thus, as Crowley beckoned, he was greeted not by a cold gust of wind slapping him in the face, but the violet-hued Goddess herself.

A warm wind trickled by, gently stirring bits of ash and stardust from the ground, and lifting them into the air. There they whirled and twirled, until they began to take the shape of the slender Goddess. Her silvery-white eyes fell upon the unicorn with a subtle amusement, as slowly the rest of her lilac form began to emerge from the rubble and the light. Her leonine tailed flicked around her hocks as her ardent gaze narrowed. "And you shall have it, Weaver." She mused. Her voice was light and airy, revealing none of her darker intentions or cunning plans.

Although Crowley stood taller than She, the Goddess seemed to exude a strength about her. She held herself with the confidence that she could bring you to your knees, while not ruffling a single feather, or tangling a single strand of mane. It was a look that said she would just as soon see you boil and burn, as walk away from her unscathed. But...she is neutral on this night, and will hear Crowley's plea. "Why have you come?"

A part of Crowley had been expecting yet another outburst from the forces that ruled from above, yet it seemed this time it would all be different. This time he was not haughty with his request, and did not demand; he had asked with respect, and almost as soon as the words had brushed past his lips, something strange began to happen. A gentle, comforting wind tousled his mane as it created a whirlwind before him, quickly taking on the form of the figure he had called upon.

Crowley had seen many a ladies in his days, but the violet mare standing before him now was a different story entirely; after all, she was a God. Beyond beautiful, the brindle fought to keep his eyes from lingering for too long on her lithe form. From the way she stood to her eerie, piercing eyes, and even to the very air around her, it was painfully obvious just how different she was than any mortal. She was something to be feared and respected.

It was only when he took notice of his skin prickling did he pause and focus his gaze on her own, exhaling another steady breath as he took in her words. Wasting no time, the Weaver lifted his head to it's natural set and spoke. "Thank you, Goddess," he said softly before carrying on, "I've come to ask your assistance in enhancing my curses. I wish for them to be more... devastating, for my foes."

Patiently she listened, although of course she already knew what was in his mind. She loved when they came to her - their eyes bright and their minds greedily drunk on the idea of possessing more power; dark power. It amused her, how they would go to nearly any lengths to satisfy their mortal yearnings. She had made them betray, abandon, injure themselves and others, all in the pursuit of some fleeting instantiation of magic, that would dissolve as their short lives burned away. What was the point? And yet they came just the same...

"Alright Weaver. If your curses are to be effective you should study their applications...up close." Turning her ghostly gaze to Talbot, she sneered with a wicked amusement. "BOO" She roared suddenly, her gaze brightening until there was nothing but pin-points of starlight. As the word left her mouth, a startling and icy wind roared, fully encompassing Talbot, and causing the Goddess' silvery mane to dance all about her slender shoulders. A cruel and twisted smile broke her neutral expression, as her body began to break up into bits of ash and starlight, from whence it came. "It is up to you, who bares this burden...." She laughed - a sound like icicles breaking. Darkness crowded around the hellhound, as if the very world was caving in, and threatening to snuff the life from its body.

"Return when it is over." She breathed, as her piercing gaze winked-out, dissolving into a multitude of stars that vanished on the icy breeze.

[Talbot is now cursed! The world appears an incredibly dangerous and frightening place. For 6 consecutive threads, Talbot will be cursed. If Crowley wishes, he may bear the curse instead, but the effects will be increased when he does.
Thread #1: Extreme Fright and Paranoia.
Thread #2: Blindness and puss-filled boils

Thread #6: Freezing sleet which follows them around.

Please Note: The threads must be consecutive, and completed before returning.]
